Dictionary data is derived from data made publicly available by Project Root List.

Sura provenance information (i.e., Meccan or Medinan) is assigned according to the Nöldeke-Schwally system (see Neal Robinson, Discovering the Qur'an: A Contemporary Approach to a Veiled Text (London: SCM, 2003) pp 60-96, esp. p 77).
