Sura Hūd 11:101

وَمَا ظَلَمْنَٰهُمْ وَلَٰكِن ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَمَآ أَغْنَتْ عَنْهُمْ ءَالِهَتُهُمُ ٱلَّتِى يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ مِن شَىْءٍ لَّمَّا جَآءَ أَمْرُ رَبِّكَ وَمَا زَادُوهُمْ غَيْرَ تَتْبِيبٍ

wa-mā ẓalamnāhum wa-lākin ẓalamū anfusahum fa-mā aghnat ʿanhum ālihatuhumu allatī yadʿūna min dūni allāhi min shayʾin llammā jāa amru rabbika wa-mā zādūhum ghayra tatbībin

It was not We that wronged them: They wronged their own souls: the deities, other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them no whit when there issued the decree of thy Lord: Nor did they add aught (to their lot) but perdition!

Sura Hūd 11:102

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَخْذُ رَبِّكَ إِذَآ أَخَذَ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَهِىَ ظَٰلِمَةٌ إِنَّ أَخْذَهُۥٓ أَلِيمٌ شَدِيدٌ

wa-ka-dhālika akhdhu rabbika idhā akhadha l-qurā wahiya ẓālimatun inna akhdhahu alīmun shadīdun

Such is the chastisement of thy Lord when He chastises communities in the midst of their wrong: grievous, indeed, and severe is His chastisement.

Sura Hūd 11:103

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّمَنْ خَافَ عَذَابَ ٱلْأَخِرَةِ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّجْمُوعٌ لَّهُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَذَٰلِكَ يَوْمٌ مَّشْهُودٌ

inna fī dhālika la-āyatan li-man khāfa ʿadhāba l-akhirati dhālika yawmun majmūʿun lahu l-nāsu wa-dhālika yawmun mashhūdun

In that is a Sign for those who fear the penalty of the Hereafter: that is a Day for which mankind will be gathered together: that will be a Day of Testimony.

Sura Hūd 11:104

وَمَا نُؤَخِّرُهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِأَجَلٍ مَّعْدُودٍ

wa-mā nuʾakhkhiruhu illā li-ajalin maʿdūdin

Nor shall We delay it but for a term appointed.

Sura Hūd 11:105

يَوْمَ يَأْتِ لَا تَكَلَّمُ نَفْسٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ فَمِنْهُمْ شَقِىٌّ وَسَعِيدٌ

yawma yaʾti lā takallamu nafsun illā bi-idhnihi faminhum shaqiyyun wa-saʿīdun

The day it arrives, no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those (gathered) some will be wretched and some will be blessed.

Sura Hūd 11:106

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ شَقُوا۟ فَفِى ٱلنَّارِ لَهُمْ فِيهَا زَفِيرٌ وَشَهِيقٌ

fa-ammā lladhīna shaqū fa-fī l-nāri lahum fīhā zafīrun wa-shahīqun

Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: There will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs:

Sura Hūd 11:107

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ رَبُّكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ

khālidīna fīhā mā dāmati l-samāwātu wa-l-arḍu illā mā shāʾa rabbuka inna rabbaka faʿʿālun li-mā yurīdu

They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth.
