(16:7)

وَتَحْمِلُ  أَثْقَالَكُمْ  إِلَىٰ  بَلَدٍ  لَّمْ  تَكُونُوا۟  بَٰلِغِيهِ  إِلَّا  بِشِقِّ  ٱلْأَنفُسِ  إِنَّ  رَبَّكُمْ  لَرَءُوفٌ  رَّحِيمٌ wa‑taḥmilu athqālakum ilā baladin lam takūnū bālighīhi illā bi‑shiqqi l‑anfusi inna rabbakum la‑raʾūfun raḥīmun
And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful,
(16:8)

وَٱلْخَيْلَ  وَٱلْبِغَالَ  وَٱلْحَمِيرَ  لِتَرْكَبُوهَا  وَزِينَةً  وَيَخْلُقُ  مَا  لَا  تَعْلَمُونَ wa‑l‑khayla wa‑l‑bighāla wa‑l‑ḥamīra li‑tarkabūhā wa‑zīnatan wa‑yakhluqu taʿlamūna
And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge.
(16:9)

وَعَلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  قَصْدُ  ٱلسَّبِيلِ  وَمِنْهَا  جَآئِرٌ  وَلَوْ  شَآءَ  لَهَدَىٰكُمْ  أَجْمَعِينَ wa‑ʿala allāhi qaṣdu l‑sabīli wa‑minhā jāirun wa‑law shāʾa la‑hadākum ajmaʿīna
And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you.
(16:10)

هُوَ  ٱلَّذِىٓ  أَنزَلَ  مِنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  مَآءً  لَّكُم  مِّنْهُ  شَرَابٌ  وَمِنْهُ  شَجَرٌ  فِيهِ  تُسِيمُونَ huwa alladhī anzala mina l‑samāʾi māʾan llakum minhu sharābun wa‑minhu shajarun fīhi tusīmūna
It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle.
(16:11)

يُنۢبِتُ  لَكُم  بِهِ  ٱلزَّرْعَ  وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ  وَٱلنَّخِيلَ  وَٱلْأَعْنَٰبَ  وَمِن  كُلِّ  ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ  إِنَّ  فِى  ذَٰلِكَ  لَءَايَةً  لِّقَوْمٍ  يَتَفَكَّرُونَ yunbitu la‑kum bihi l‑zarʿa wa‑l‑zaytūna wa‑l‑nakhīla wa‑l‑aʿnāba wa‑min kulli l‑thamarāti inna dhālika la‑āyatan li‑qawmin yatafakkarūna
With it He produces for you corn, olives, date-palms, grapes and every kind of fruit: verily in this is a sign for those who give thought.
(16:12)

وَسَخَّرَ  لَكُمُ  ٱلَّيْلَ  وَٱلنَّهَارَ  وَٱلشَّمْسَ  وَٱلْقَمَرَ  وَٱلنُّجُومُ  مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ  بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ  إِنَّ  فِى  ذَٰلِكَ  لَءَايَٰتٍ  لِّقَوْمٍ  يَعْقِلُونَ wa‑sakhkhara lakumu l‑layla wa‑l‑nahāra wa‑l‑shamsa wa‑l‑qamara wa‑l‑nujūmu musakhkharātun bi‑amrihi inna dhālika la‑āyātin li‑qawmin yaʿqilūna
He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise.
(16:13)

وَمَا  ذَرَأَ  لَكُمْ  فِى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  مُخْتَلِفًا  أَلْوَٰنُهُۥٓ  إِنَّ  فِى  ذَٰلِكَ  لَءَايَةً  لِّقَوْمٍ  يَذَّكَّرُونَ wa‑mā dharaʾa la‑kum l‑arḍi mukhtalifan alwānuhu inna dhālika la‑āyatan li‑qawmin yadhdhakkarūna
And the things on this earth which He has multiplied in varying colours (and qualities): verily in this is a sign for men who celebrate the praises of Allah (in gratitude).
