Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:8

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

inna fī dhālika la-āyatan wa-mā kāna aktharuhum muʾminīna

Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:9

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

wa-inna rabbaka la-huwa l-ʿazīzu l-raḥīmu

And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:10

وَإِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئْتِ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

wa-idh nādā rabbuka mūsā ani iʾti l-qawma l-ẓālimīna

Behold, thy Lord called Moses: "Go to the people of iniquity,-

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:11

قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ

qawma firʿawna āla yattaqūna

"The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?"

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:12

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ

qalā rabbi innī akhāfu an yukadhdhibūni

He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood:

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:13

وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِى وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِى فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَىٰ هَٰرُونَ

wa-yaḍīqu ṣadrī wa-lā yanṭaliqu lisānī fa-arsil ilā hārūna

"My breast will be straightened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:14

وَلَهُمْ عَلَىَّ ذَنۢبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ

wa-lahum ʿalayya dhanbun fa-akhāfu an yaqtulūni

"And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me."
