Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:11

قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ

qawma firʿawna āla yattaqūna

"The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?"

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:12

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ

qalā rabbi innī akhāfu an yukadhdhibūni

He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood:

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:13

وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِى وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِى فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَىٰ هَٰرُونَ

wa-yaḍīqu ṣadrī wa-lā yanṭaliqu lisānī fa-arsil ilā hārūna

"My breast will be straightened. And my speech may not go (smoothly): so send unto Aaron.

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:14

وَلَهُمْ عَلَىَّ ذَنۢبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ

wa-lahum ʿalayya dhanbun fa-akhāfu an yaqtulūni

"And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me."

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:15

قَالَ كَلَّا فَٱذْهَبَا بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ

qalā kallā fa-idhhabā bi-āyātinā innā maʿakum mustamiʿūna

Allah said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call).

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:16

فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

fa-ʾtiyā firʿawna fa-qūlā innā rasūlu rabbi l-ʿālamīna

"So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds;

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:17

أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

an arsil maʿanā banī isrāʾīla

"'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'"
