(35:2) | مَّا يَفْتَحِ ٱللَّـهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ | mā yaftaḥi allāhu lil‑nāsi min rraḥmatin fa‑lā mumsika lahā wa‑mā yumsik fa‑lā mursila lahu min baʿdihi wa‑huwa l‑ʿazīzu l‑ḥakīmu | What Allah out of his Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none
can withhold: what He doth withhold, there is none can grant, apart from
Him: and He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom.
Sura al-Faṭīr 35:2 مَّا يَفْتَحِ ٱللَّـهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِن رَّحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُۥ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ mā yaftaḥi allāhu lil-nāsi min rraḥmatin fa-lā mumsika lahā wa-mā yumsik fa-lā mursila lahu min baʿdihi wa-huwa l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīmu What Allah out of his Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none can withhold: what He doth withhold, there is none can grant, apart from Him: and He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. |
(35:3) | يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّـهِ عَلَيْكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ خَٰلِقٍ غَيْرُ ٱللَّـهِ يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ | yā‑ayyuhā l‑nāsu idhkurū niʿmata allāhi ʿalaykum hal min khāliqin ghayru allāhi yarzuqukum mina l‑samāʾi wa‑l‑arḍi lā ilāha illā huwa fa‑annā tuʾfakūna | O men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! is there a
creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? There
is no god but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth?

(35:4) | وَإِن يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِكَ وَإِلَى ٱللَّـهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ | wa‑in yukadhdhibūka fa‑qad kudhdhibat rusulun min qablika wa‑ilā allāhi turjaʿu l‑umūru | And if they reject thee, so were messengers rejected before
thee: to Allah back for decision all affairs.

(35:5) | يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّـهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّـهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ | yā‑ayyuhā l‑nāsu inna waʿda allāhi ḥaqqun fa‑lā taghurrannakumu l‑ḥayātu l‑dunyā wa‑lā yaghurrannakum billāhi l‑gharūru | O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this
present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about
Allah.

(35:6) | إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا إِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا۟ حِزْبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُوا۟ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ | inna l‑shayṭāna la‑kum ʿaduwwun fa‑ittakhidhūhu ʿadūwan innamā yadʿū ḥizbahu li‑yakūnū min aṣḥābi l‑saʿīri | Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He
only invites his adherents, that they may become Companions of the Blazing
Fire.

(35:7) | ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ | lladhīna kafarū lahum ʿadhābun shadīdun wa‑lladhīna āmanū wa‑ʿamilū l‑ṣāliḥāti lahum maghfiratun wa‑ajrun kabīrun | For those who reject Allah, is a terrible Penalty: but for those
who believe and work righteous deeds, is Forgiveness, and a magnificent
Reward.

(35:8) | أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ | a‑fa‑man zuyyina lahu sūu ʿamalihi fa‑raʾāhu ḥasanan fa‑inna allāha yuḍillu man yashāʾu wa‑yahdī man yashāʾu fa‑lā tadhhab nafsuka ʿalayhim ḥasarātin inna allāha ʿalīmun bi‑mā yaṣnaʿūna | Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring,
so that he looks upon it as good, (equal to one who is rightly guided)? For
Allah leaves to stray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So let not thy
soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them: for Allah knows well all that
they do!
