(44:1)

حمٓ ḥm
Ha-Mim.
(44:2)

وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ  ٱلْمُبِينِ wa‑l‑kitābi l‑mubīni
By the Book that makes things clear;-
(44:3)

إِنَّآ  أَنزَلْنَٰهُ  فِى  لَيْلَةٍ  مُّبَٰرَكَةٍ  إِنَّا  كُنَّا  مُنذِرِينَ innā anzalnāhu laylatin mubārakatin innā kunnā mundhirīna
We sent it down during a Blessed Night: for We (ever) wish to warn (against Evil).
(44:4)

فِيهَا  يُفْرَقُ  كُلُّ  أَمْرٍ  حَكِيمٍ fīhā yufraqu kullu amrin ḥakīmin
In the (Night) is made distinct every affair of wisdom,
(44:5)

أَمْرًا  مِّنْ  عِندِنَآ  إِنَّا  كُنَّا  مُرْسِلِينَ amran min ʿindinā innā kunnā mursilīna
By command, from Our Presence. For We (ever) send (revelations),
(44:6)

رَحْمَةً  مِّن  رَّبِّكَ  إِنَّهُۥ  هُوَ  ٱلسَّمِيعُ  ٱلْعَلِيمُ raḥmatan min rabbika innahu huwa l‑samīʿu l‑ʿalīmu
As Mercy from thy Lord: for He hears and knows (all things);
(44:7)

رَبِّ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ  وَٱلْأَرْضِ  وَمَا  بَيْنَهُمَآ  إِن  كُنتُم  مُّوقِنِينَ rabbi l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍi wa‑mā baynahumā in kuntum mūqinīna
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, if ye (but) have an assured faith.
