(5:114) | قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ٱللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةً مِّنكَ وَٱرْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ | qalā ʿīsā ibnu maryama l‑lahumma rabbanā anzil ʿalaynā māʾidatan mina l‑samāʾi takūnu la‑nā ʿīdan li‑awwalinā wa‑ākhirinā wa‑āyatan minka wa‑arzuqnā waanta khayru l‑rāziqīna | Said Jesus the son of Mary: "O Allah our Lord! Send us from
heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us - for the first
and the last of us - a solemn festival and a sign from thee; and provide
for our sustenance, for thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)."
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:114 قَالَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ٱللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَآ أَنزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَآئِدَةً مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ تَكُونُ لَنَا عِيدًا لِّأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةً مِّنكَ وَٱرْزُقْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ qalā ʿīsā ibnu maryama l-lahumma rabbanā anzil ʿalaynā māʾidatan mina l-samāʾi takūnu la-nā ʿīdan li-awwalinā wa-ākhirinā wa-āyatan minka wa-arzuqnā waanta khayru l-rāziqīna Said Jesus the son of Mary: "O Allah our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a solemn festival and a sign from thee; and provide for our sustenance, for thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)." |
(5:115) | قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ إِنِّى مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنكُمْ فَإِنِّىٓ أُعَذِّبُهُۥ عَذَابًا لَّآ أُعَذِّبُهُۥٓ أَحَدًا مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ | qalā allāhu innī munazziluhā ʿalaykum fa‑man yakfur baʿdu minkum fa‑innī uʿadhdhibuhu ʿadhāban lā uʿadhdhibuhu aḥadan mina l‑ʿālamīna | Allah said: "I will send it down unto you: But if any of you
after that resisteth faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have
not inflicted on any one among all the peoples."
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:115 قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ إِنِّى مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيْكُمْ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بَعْدُ مِنكُمْ فَإِنِّىٓ أُعَذِّبُهُۥ عَذَابًا لَّآ أُعَذِّبُهُۥٓ أَحَدًا مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ qalā allāhu innī munazziluhā ʿalaykum fa-man yakfur baʿdu minkum fa-innī uʿadhdhibuhu ʿadhāban lā uʿadhdhibuhu aḥadan mina l-ʿālamīna Allah said: "I will send it down unto you: But if any of you after that resisteth faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples." |
(5:116) | وَإِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ يَٰعِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ءَأَنتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ ٱتَّخِذُونِى وَأُمِّىَ إِلَٰهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ قَالَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِىٓ أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِحَقٍّ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُۥ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُۥ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِى نَفْسِى وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِى نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ | wa‑idh qalā allāhu yā‑ʿīsā ibna maryama a‑anta qulta lil‑nāsi attakhidhūnī wa‑ummiya ilāhayni min dūni allāhi qalā subḥānaka mā yakūnu lī an aqūla mā laysa lī biḥaqqin in kuntu qultuhu fa‑qad ʿalimtahu taʿlamu mā fī nafsī wa‑lā aʿlamu mā fī nafsika innaka anta ʿallāmu l‑ghuyūbi | And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou
say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He
will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say).
Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest
what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in
full all that is hidden.
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:116 وَإِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ يَٰعِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ءَأَنتَ قُلْتَ لِلنَّاسِ ٱتَّخِذُونِى وَأُمِّىَ إِلَٰهَيْنِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ قَالَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ مَا يَكُونُ لِىٓ أَنْ أَقُولَ مَا لَيْسَ لِى بِحَقٍّ إِن كُنتُ قُلْتُهُۥ فَقَدْ عَلِمْتَهُۥ تَعْلَمُ مَا فِى نَفْسِى وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ مَا فِى نَفْسِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّٰمُ ٱلْغُيُوبِ wa-idh qalā allāhu yā-ʿīsā ibna maryama a-anta qulta lil-nāsi attakhidhūnī wa-ummiya ilāhayni min dūni allāhi qalā subḥānaka mā yakūnu lī an aqūla mā laysa lī biḥaqqin in kuntu qultuhu fa-qad ʿalimtahu taʿlamu mā fī nafsī wa-lā aʿlamu mā fī nafsika innaka anta ʿallāmu l-ghuyūbi And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden. |
(5:117) | مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلَّا مَآ أَمَرْتَنِى بِهِۦٓ أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ رَبِّى وَرَبَّكُمْ وَكُنتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَّا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِى كُنتَ أَنتَ ٱلرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ | mā qultu lahum illā mā amartanī bihi ani iʿbudū allāha rabbī wa‑rabbakum wa‑kuntu ʿalayhim shahīdan mā dumtu fīhim fa‑lammā tawaffaytanī kunta anta l‑raqība ʿalayhim waanta ʿalā kulli shayʾin shahīdun | "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me
to say, to wit, 'worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness
over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up Thou wast
the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things.
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:117 مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلَّا مَآ أَمَرْتَنِى بِهِۦٓ أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ رَبِّى وَرَبَّكُمْ وَكُنتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَّا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِى كُنتَ أَنتَ ٱلرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ mā qultu lahum illā mā amartanī bihi ani iʿbudū allāha rabbī wa-rabbakum wa-kuntu ʿalayhim shahīdan mā dumtu fīhim fa-lammā tawaffaytanī kunta anta l-raqība ʿalayhim waanta ʿalā kulli shayʾin shahīdun "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up Thou wast the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things. |
(5:118) | إِن تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِن تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ | in tuʿadhdhibhum fainnahum ʿibāduka wa‑in taghfir lahum fa‑innaka anta l‑ʿazīzu l‑ḥakīmu | "If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servant: If Thou dost
forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise."
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:118 إِن تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِن تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ in tuʿadhdhibhum fainnahum ʿibāduka wa-in taghfir lahum fa-innaka anta l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīmu "If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servant: If Thou dost forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise." |
(5:119) | قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا رَّضِىَ ٱللَّـهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ | qalā allāhu hādhā yawmu yanfaʿu l‑ṣādiqīna ṣidquhum lahum jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l‑anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan raḍiya allāhu ʿanhum wa‑raḍū ʿanhu dhālika l‑fawzu l‑ʿaẓīmu | Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit
from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their
eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the
great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:119 قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا رَّضِىَ ٱللَّـهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ qalā allāhu hādhā yawmu yanfaʿu l-ṣādiqīna ṣidquhum lahum jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan raḍiya allāhu ʿanhum wa-raḍū ʿanhu dhālika l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires). |
(5:120) | لِلَّـهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌۢ | lillāhi mulku l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍi wa‑mā fī‑hinna wa‑huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun | To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth,
and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things.
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:120 لِلَّـهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌۢ lillāhi mulku l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-mā fī-hinna wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things. |
