Surah 56 al-Wāqiʿah (That Which is Coming)

(56:49)	قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْأَخِرِينَ	qul inna l‑awwalīna wa‑l‑akhirīna	Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times, Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:49 قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْأَخِرِينَ qul inna l-awwalīna wa-l-akhirīna Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times,
(56:50)	لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ	lamajmūʿūna ilā mīqāti yawmin maʿlūmin	"All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known. Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:50 لَمَجْمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ lamajmūʿūna ilā mīqāti yawmin maʿlūmin "All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known.
(56:51)	ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ	thumma innakum ayyuhā l‑ḍāllūna l‑mukadhdhibūna	"Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!- Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:51 ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ thumma innakum ayyuhā l-ḍāllūna l-mukadhdhibūna "Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!-
(56:52)	لَأَكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍ مِّن زَقُّومٍ	la‑akilūna min shajarin min zaqqūmin	"Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum. Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:52 لَأَكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٍ مِّن زَقُّومٍ la-akilūna min shajarin min zaqqūmin "Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum.
(56:53)	فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ	fa‑māliʾūna minhā l‑buṭūna	"Then will ye fill your insides therewith, Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:53 فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ fa-māliʾūna minhā l-buṭūna "Then will ye fill your insides therewith,
(56:54)	فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَمِيمِ	fa‑shāribūna ʿalayhi mina l‑ḥamīmi	"And drink Boiling Water on top of it: Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:54 فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلْحَمِيمِ fa-shāribūna ʿalayhi mina l-ḥamīmi "And drink Boiling Water on top of it:
(56:55)	فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرْبَ ٱلْهِيمِ	fa‑shāribūna shurba l‑hīmi	"Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:55 فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرْبَ ٱلْهِيمِ fa-shāribūna shurba l-hīmi "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!"
