Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:71

أَفَرَءَيْتُمُ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِى تُورُونَ

a-fa-raʾaytumu l-nāra allatī tūrūna

See ye the Fire which ye kindle?

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:72

ءَأَنتُمْ أَنشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَآ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُنشِـُٔونَ

aʾantum anshaʾtum shajaratahā am naḥnu l-munshiʾūna

Is it ye who grow the tree which feeds the fire, or do We grow it?

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:73

نَحْنُ جَعَلْنَٰهَا تَذْكِرَةً وَمَتَٰعًا لِّلْمُقْوِينَ

naḥnu jaʿalnāhā tadhkiratan wa-matāʿan lil-muqwīna

We have made it a memorial (of Our handiwork), and an article of comfort and convenience for the denizens of deserts.

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:74

فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

fa-sabbiḥ bi-ismi rabbika l-ʿaẓīmi

Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme!

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:75

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ

fa-lā uqsimu bi-mawāqiʿi l-nujūmi

Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,-

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:76

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ

wa-innahu la-qasamun law taʿlamūna ʿaẓīmun

And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,-

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:77

إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرْءَانٌ كَرِيمٌ

innahu la-qurʾānun karīmun

That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable,
