Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(6:64)

Say "It is Allah that delivereth you from these and all (other) distresses: and yet ye worship false gods!"
(6:65)

قُلْ  هُوَ  ٱلْقَادِرُ  عَلَىٰٓ  أَن  يَبْعَثَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  عَذَابًا  مِّن  فَوْقِكُمْ  أَوْ  مِن  تَحْتِ  أَرْجُلِكُمْ  أَوْ  يَلْبِسَكُمْ  شِيَعًا  وَيُذِيقَ  بَعْضَكُم  بَأْسَ  بَعْضٍ  ٱنظُرْ  كَيْفَ  نُصَرِّفُ  ٱلْأَيَٰتِ  لَعَلَّهُمْ  يَفْقَهُونَ qul huwa l‑qādiru ʿala an yabʿatha ʿalaykum ʿadhāban min fawqikum aw min taḥti arjulikum aw yalbisakum shiyaʿan wa‑yudhīqa baʿḍakum baʾsa baʿḍin inẓur kayfa nuṣarrifu l‑ayāti la‑ʿallahum yafqahūna
Say: "He hath power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance - each from the other." See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); that they may understand.
(6:66)

But thy people reject this, though it is the truth. Say: "Not mine is the responsibility for arranging your affairs;
(6:67)

لِّكُلِّ  نَبَإٍ  مُّسْتَقَرٌّ  وَسَوْفَ  تَعْلَمُونَ li‑kulli nabain mustaqarrun wa‑sawfa taʿlamūna
For every message is a limit of time, and soon shall ye know it."
(6:68)

وَإِذَا  رَأَيْتَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  يَخُوضُونَ  فِىٓ  ءَايَٰتِنَا  فَأَعْرِضْ  عَنْهُمْ  حَتَّىٰ  يَخُوضُوا۟  فِى  حَدِيثٍ  غَيْرِهِۦ  وَإِمَّا  يُنسِيَنَّكَ  ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ  فَلَا  تَقْعُدْ  بَعْدَ  ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ  مَعَ  ٱلْقَوْمِ  ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ wa‑idhā raayta lladhīna yakhūḍūna āyātinā fa‑aʿriḍ ʿanhum ḥattā yakhūḍū ḥadīthin ghayrihi wa‑immā yunsiyannaka l‑shayṭānu fa‑lā taqʿud baʿda l‑dhikrā maʿa l‑qawmi l‑ẓālimīna
When thou seest men engaged in vain discourse about Our signs, turn away from them unless they turn to a different theme. If Satan ever makes thee forget, then after recollection, sit not thou in the company of those who do wrong.
(6:69)

وَمَا  عَلَى  ٱلَّذِينَ  يَتَّقُونَ  مِنْ  حِسَابِهِم  مِّن  شَىْءٍ  وَلَٰكِن  ذِكْرَىٰ  لَعَلَّهُمْ  يَتَّقُونَ wa‑mā ʿalā lladhīna yattaqūna min ḥisābihim min shayʾin wa‑lākin dhikra la‑ʿallahum yattaqūna
On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may (learn to) fear Allah.
(6:70)

وَذَرِ  ٱلَّذِينَ  ٱتَّخَذُوا۟  دِينَهُمْ  لَعِبًا  وَلَهْوًا  وَغَرَّتْهُمُ  ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ  ٱلدُّنْيَا  وَذَكِّرْ  بِهِۦٓ  أَن  تُبْسَلَ  نَفْسٌۢ  بِمَا  كَسَبَتْ  لَيْسَ  لَهَا  مِن  دُونِ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَلِىٌّ  وَلَا  شَفِيعٌ  وَإِن  تَعْدِلْ  كُلَّ  عَدْلٍ  لَّا  يُؤْخَذْ  مِنْهَآ  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  أُبْسِلُوا۟  بِمَا  كَسَبُوا۟  لَهُمْ  شَرَابٌ  مِّنْ  حَمِيمٍ  وَعَذَابٌ  أَلِيمٌۢ  بِمَا  كَانُوا۟  يَكْفُرُونَ wa‑dhari lladhīna ittakhadhū dīnahum laʿiban wa‑lahwan wa‑gharrathumu l‑ḥayātu l‑dunyā wa‑dhakkir bihi an tubsala nafsun bi‑mā kasabat laysa lahā min dūni allāhi waliyyun wa‑lā shafīʿun wa‑in taʿdil kulla ʿadlin yukhadh minhā ulāʾika lladhīna ubsilū bi‑mā kasabū lahum sharābun min ḥamīmin wa‑ʿadhābun alīmun bi‑mā kānū yakfurūna
Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except Allah: if it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting Allah.
