Sura Nūḥ 71:11

يُرْسِلِ ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْكُم مِّدْرَارًا

yursili l-samāʾa ʿalaykum midrāran

"'He will send rain to you in abundance;

Sura Nūḥ 71:12

وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَٰلٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَٰرًا

wa-yumdidkum bi-amwālin wa-banīna wa-yajʿal la-kum jannātin wa-yajʿal la-kum anhāran

"'Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water).

Sura Nūḥ 71:13

مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّـهِ وَقَارًا

mā la-kum lā tarjūna lillāhi waqāran

"'What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in Allah,-

Sura Nūḥ 71:14

وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا

wa-qad khalaqakum aṭwāran

"'Seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages?

Sura Nūḥ 71:15

أَلَمْ تَرَوْا۟ كَيْفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّـهُ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا

a-lam taraw kayfa khalaqa allāhu sabʿa samāwātin ṭibāqan

"'See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another,

Sura Nūḥ 71:16

وَجَعَلَ ٱلْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا

wa-jaʿala l-qamara fī-hinna nūran wa-jaʿala l-shamsa sirājan

"'And made the moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?

Sura Nūḥ 71:17

وَٱللَّـهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا

wallāhu anbatakum mina l-arḍi nabātan

"'And Allah has produced you from the earth growing (gradually),
