Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:1

لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ

lā uqsimu bi-yawmi l-qiyāmati

I do call to witness the Resurrection Day;

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:2

وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ

wa-lā uqsimu bil-nafsi l-lawwāmati

And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil).

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:3

أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ

a-yaḥsabu l-insānu allan nnajmaʿa ʿiẓāmahu

Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:4

بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ

balā qādirīna ʿala an nusawwiya banānahu

Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:5

بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ

bal yurīdu l-insānu li-yafjura amāmahu

But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him.

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:6

يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ

yasʾalu ayyāna yawmu l-qiyāmati

He questions: "When is the Day of Resurrection?"

Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:7

فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ

fa-idhā bariqa l-baṣaru

At length, when the sight is dazed,
