Surah 75 al-Qiyāmah (The Resurrection)

(75:34)	أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ	awlā la‑ka fa‑awlā	Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:34 أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ awlā la-ka fa-awlā Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe!
(75:35)	ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ	thumma awlā la‑ka fa‑awlā	Again, Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe! Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:35 ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ thumma awlā la-ka fa-awlā Again, Woe to thee, (O men!), yea, woe!
(75:36)	أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى	a‑yaḥsabu l‑insānu an yutraka sudan	Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)? Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:36 أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى a-yaḥsabu l-insānu an yutraka sudan Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)?
(75:37)	أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّن مَّنِىٍّ يُمْنَىٰ	a‑lam yaku nuṭfatan min maniyyin yumnā	Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)? Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:37 أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّن مَّنِىٍّ يُمْنَىٰ a-lam yaku nuṭfatan min maniyyin yumnā Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)?
(75:38)	ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ	thumma kāna ʿalaqatan fa‑khalaqa fa‑sawwā	Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion. Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:38 ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ thumma kāna ʿalaqatan fa-khalaqa fa-sawwā Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion.
(75:39)	فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ	fa‑jaʿala minhu l‑zawjayni l‑dhakara wa‑l‑unthā	And of him He made two sexes, male and female. Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:39 فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ fa-jaʿala minhu l-zawjayni l-dhakara wa-l-unthā And of him He made two sexes, male and female.
(75:40)	أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْۦِىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ	a‑laysa dhālika bi‑qādirin ʿala an yuḥyiya l‑mawtā	Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead? Sura al-Qiyāmah 75:40 أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْۦِىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ a-laysa dhālika bi-qādirin ʿala an yuḥyiya l-mawtā Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead?
