Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:30

وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ

wa-idhā marrū bihim yataghāmazūna

And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery);

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:31

وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ

wa-idhā inqalabū ila ahlihimu inqalabū fakihīna

And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting;

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:32

وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ

wa-idhā raʾawhum qālū inna hāʾulāʾi la-ḍāllūna

And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!"

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:33

وَمَآ أُرْسِلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ حَٰفِظِينَ

wa-mā ursilū ʿalayhim ḥāfiẓīna

But they had not been sent as keepers over them!

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:34

فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ

fa-l-yawma lladhīna āmanū mina l-kuffāri yaḍḥakūna

But on this Day the Believers will laugh at the Unbelievers:

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:35

عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ يَنظُرُونَ

ʿalā l-arāʾiki yanẓurūna

On Thrones (of Dignity) they will command (a sight) (of all things).

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:36

هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ

hal thuwwiba l-kuffāru mā kānū yafʿalūna

Will not the Unbelievers have been paid back for what they did?
