Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:3

وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ

wa-idhā kālūhum aw- wazanūhum yukhsirūna

But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:4

أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ

āla yaẓunnu ulāʾika annahum mabʿūthūna

Do they not think that they will be called to account?-

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:5

لِيَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

li-yawmin ʿaẓīmin

On a Mighty Day,

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:6

يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

yawma yaqūmu l-nāsu li-rabbi l-ʿālamīna

A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds?

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:7

كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍ

kallā inna kitāba l-fujjāri la-fī sijjīnin

Nay! Surely the record of the wicked is (preserved) in Sijjin.

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:8

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا سِجِّينٌ

wa-mā adrāka mā sijjīnun

And what will explain to thee what Sijjin is?

Sura al-Muṭaffifīn 83:9

كِتَٰبٌ مَّرْقُومٌ

kitābun marqūmun

(There is) a Register (fully) inscribed.
