Sura al-Inshiqāq 84:4

وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ

wa-alqat mā fīhā wa-takhallat

And casts forth what is within it and becomes (clean) empty,

Sura al-Inshiqāq 84:5

وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ

wa-adhinat lirabbihā wa-ḥuqqat

And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord,- and it must needs (do so);- (then will come Home the full reality).

Sura al-Inshiqāq 84:6

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَٰقِيهِ

yā-ayyuhā l-insānu innaka kādiḥun ilā rabbika kadḥan fa-mulāqīhi

O thou man! Verily thou art ever toiling on towards thy Lord- painfully toiling,- but thou shalt meet Him.

Sura al-Inshiqāq 84:7

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ

fa-ammā man ūtiya kitābahu bi-yamīnihi

Then he who is given his Record in his right hand,

Sura al-Inshiqāq 84:8

فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا

fa-sawfa yuḥāsabu ḥisāban yasīran

Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning,

Sura al-Inshiqāq 84:9

وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا

wa-yanqalibu ila ahlihi masrūran

And he will turn to his people, rejoicing!

Sura al-Inshiqāq 84:10

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ

waammā man ūtiya kitābahu wa-rāʾa ẓahrihi

But he who is given his Record behind his back,-
