Sura al-Bayyinah 98:1

لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ

lam yakuni lladhīna kafarū min ahli l-kitābi wa-l-mushrikīna munfakkīna ḥattā taʾtiyahumu l-bayyinatu

Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,-

Sura al-Bayyinah 98:2

رَسُولٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ يَتْلُوا۟ صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً

rasūlun mina allāhi yatlū ṣuḥufan muṭahharatan

An messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy:

Sura al-Bayyinah 98:3

فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ

fīhā kutubun qayyimatun

Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight.

Sura al-Bayyinah 98:4

وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ

wa-mā tafarraqa lladhīna ūtū l-kitāba illā min baʿdi mā jāʾathumu l-bayyinatu

Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence.

Sura al-Bayyinah 98:5

وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓا۟ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤْتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلْقَيِّمَةِ

wa-mā umirū illā li-yaʿbudū allāha mukhliṣīna lahu l-dīna ḥunafāʾa wa-yuqīmū l-ṣalāta wa-yuʾtū l-zakāta wa-dhālika dīnu l-qayyimati

And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight.

Sura al-Bayyinah 98:6

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ

inna lladhīna kafarū min ahli l-kitābi wa-l-mushrikīna fī nāri jahannama khālidīna fīhā ulāʾika hum sharru l-bariyyati

Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures.

Sura al-Bayyinah 98:7

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ

inna lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti ulāʾika hum khayru l-bariyyati

Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures.
