Sura al-Baqara 2:258

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِى حَآجَّ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ فِى رَبِّهِۦٓ أَنْ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ إِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّىَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا۠ أُحْىِۦ وَأُمِيتُ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِـۧمُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَأْتِى بِٱلشَّمْسِ مِنَ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِهَا مِنَ ٱلْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ وَٱللَّـهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

a-lam tara ilā alladhī ḥājja ibrāhīma fī rabbihi an ātahu allāhu l-mulka idh qalā ibrāhīmu rabbiya alladhī yuḥyi wa-yumītu qalā anā uḥyi wa-umītu qalā ibrāhīmu fa-inna allāha yaʾtī bil-shamsi mina l-mashriqi fa-ʾti bihā mina l-maghribi fa-buhita alladhī kafara wallāhu lā yahdī l-qawma l-ẓālimīna

Hast thou not Turned thy vision to one who disputed with Abraham About his Lord, because Allah had granted him power? Abraham said: "My Lord is He Who Giveth life and death." He said: "I give life and death". Said Abraham: "But it is Allah that causeth the sun to rise from the east: Do thou then cause him to rise from the West." Thus was he confounded who (in arrogance) rejected faith. Nor doth Allah Give guidance to a people unjust.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:18

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ وَٱلنُّجُومُ وَٱلْجِبَالُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ وَٱلدَّوَآبُّ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَكَثِيرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَمَن يُهِنِ ٱللَّـهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّكْرِمٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَآءُ

a-lam tara annā allāha yasjudu lahu man fī l-samāwāti wa-man fī l-arḍi wa-l-shamsu wa-l-qamaru wa-l-nujūmu wa-l-jibālu wa-l-shajaru wa-l-dawābbu wa-kathīrun mina l-nāsi wa-kathīrun ḥaqqa ʿalayhi l-ʿadhābu wa-man yuhini allāhu fa-mā lahu min mukrimin inna allāha yafʿalu mā yashāʾu

Seest thou not that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as Allah shall disgrace,- None can raise to honour: for Allah carries out all that He wills.
