Sura Ṭā Hā 20:58

فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحْرٍ مِّثْلِهِۦ فَٱجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّا نُخْلِفُهُۥ نَحْنُ وَلَآ أَنتَ مَكَانًا سُوًى

fa-la-naʾtiyannaka bi-siḥrin mithlihi fa-ijʿal baynanā wa-baynaka mawʿidan lā nukhlifuhu naḥnu wa-lā anta makānan suwan

"But we can surely produce magic to match thine! So make a tryst between us and thee, which we shall not fail to keep - neither we nor thou - in a place where both shall have even chances."

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:87

قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَآ أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ ٱلْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَٰهَا فَكَذَٰلِكَ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ

qālū mā akhlafnā mawʿidaka bi-malkinā wa-lākinnā ḥummilnā awzāran min zīnati l-qawmi fa-qadhafnāhā fa-ka-dhālika alqā l-sāmiriyyu

They said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested.
