Sura al-Baqara 2:11

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ

wa-idhā qīla lahum lā tufsidū fī l-arḍi qālū innamā naḥnu muṣliḥūna

When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"

Sura al-Baqara 2:27

ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّـهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّـهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

lladhīna yanquḍūna ʿahda allāhi min baʿdi mīthāqihi wa-yaqṭaʿūna mā amara allāhu bihi an yūṣala wa-yufsidūna fī l-arḍi ulāʾika humu l-khāsirūna

Those who break Allah's Covenant after it is ratified, and who sunder what Allah Has ordered to be joined, and do mischief on earth: These cause loss (only) to themselves.

Sura al-Baqara 2:30

وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى جَاعِلٌ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

wa-idh qalā rabbuka lil-malāʾikati innī jāʿilun fī l-arḍi khalīfatan qālū atajʿalu fīhā man yufsidu fīhā wa-yasfiku l-dimāʾa wa-naḥnu nusabbiḥu biḥamdika wa-nuqaddisu la-ka qalā innī aʿlamu mā lā taʿlamūna

Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not."

Sura al-Baqara 2:205

وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ ٱلْحَرْثَ وَٱلنَّسْلَ وَٱللَّـهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْفَسَادَ

wa-idhā tawalla saʿā fī l-arḍi li-yufsida fīhā wa-yuhlika l-ḥartha wa-l-nasla wallāhu lā yuḥibbu l-fasāda

When he turns his back, His aim everywhere is to spread mischief through the earth and destroy crops and cattle. But Allah loveth not mischief.

Sura al-Baqara 2:251

فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّـهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُۥدُ جَالُوتَ وَءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُۥ مِمَّا يَشَآءُ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّفَسَدَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

fa-hazamūhum bi-idhni allāhi wa-qatala dāwudu jālūta wa-ātahu allāhu l-mulka wa-l-ḥikmata wa-ʿallamahu mimmā yashāʾu wa-lawlā dafʿu allāhi l-nāsa baʿḍahum bi-baʿḍin la-fasadati l-arḍu wa-lākinna allāha dhū faḍlin ʿalā l-ʿālamīna

By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.
