Sura Yūsuf 12:41

يَٰصَىٰحِبَىِ ٱلسِّجْنِ أَمَّآ أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسْقِى رَبَّهُۥ خَمْرًا وَأَمَّا ٱلْأَخَرُ فَيُصْلَبُ فَتَأْكُلُ ٱلطَّيْرُ مِن رَّأْسِهِۦ قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ تَسْتَفْتِيَانِ

yā-ṣāḥibayi l-sijni ammā aḥadukumā fa-yasqī rabbahu khamran wa-ammā l-akharu fa-yuṣlabu fa-takulu l-ṭayru min rrasihi quḍiya l-amru alladhī fīhi tastaftiyāni

"O my two companions of the prison! As to one of you, he will pour out the wine for his lord to drink: as for the other, he will hang from the cross, and the birds will eat from off his head. (so) hath been decreed that matter whereof ye twain do enquire"...

Sura Yūsuf 12:68

وَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا۟ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَهُمْ أَبُوهُم مَّا كَانَ يُغْنِى عَنْهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ مِن شَىْءٍ إِلَّا حَاجَةً فِى نَفْسِ يَعْقُوبَ قَضَىٰهَا وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذُو عِلْمٍ لِّمَا عَلَّمْنَٰهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

wa-lammā dakhalū min ḥaythu amarahum abūhum mā kāna yughnī ʿanhum mina allāhi min shayʾin illā ḥājatan fī nafsi yaʿqūba qaḍahā wa-innahu la-dhū ʿilmin li-mā ʿallamnāhu wa-lākinna akthara l-nāsi lā yaʿlamūna

And when they entered in the manner their father had enjoined, it did not profit them in the least against (the plan of) Allah: It was but a necessity of Jacob's soul, which he discharged. For he was, by our instruction, full of knowledge (and experience): but most men know not.
