Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:22

لَّا تَجْعَلْ مَعَ ٱللَّـهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقْعُدَ مَذْمُومًا مَّخْذُولًا

lā tajʿal maʿa allāhi ilāhan ākhara fa-taqʿuda madhmūman makhdhūlan

Take not with Allah another object of worship; or thou (O man!) wilt sit in disgrace and destitution.

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:29

وَلَا تَجْعَلْ يَدَكَ مَغْلُولَةً إِلَىٰ عُنُقِكَ وَلَا تَبْسُطْهَا كُلَّ ٱلْبَسْطِ فَتَقْعُدَ مَلُومًا مَّحْسُورًا

wa-lā tajʿal yadaka maghlūlatan ilā ʿunuqika wa-lā tabsuṭhā kulla l-basṭi fa-taqʿuda malūman maḥsūran

Make not thy hand tied (like a niggard's) to thy neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach, so that thou become blameworthy and destitute.
