Surah 72 al-Jinn (The Jinn)

(72:9)    | وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْأَنَ يَجِدْ لَهُۥ شِهَابًا رَّصَدًا | wa‑annā kunnā naqʿudu minhā maqāʿida lil‑samʿi fa‑man yastamiʿi l‑ana yajid lahu shihāban raṣadan | 'We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to
(steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching
him in ambush.
