Surah 23 al-Muʾminūn (The Believers)

(23:75)	وَلَوْ رَحِمْنَٰهُمْ وَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرٍّ لَّلَجُّوا۟ فِى طُغْيَٰنِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ	wa‑law raḥimnāhum wa‑kashafnā mā bihim min ḍurrin llalajjū fī ṭughyānihim yaʿmahūna	If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro.
