Sura al-Faṭīr 35:8

أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

a-fa-man zuyyina lahu sūu ʿamalihi fa-raʾāhu ḥasanan fa-inna allāha yuḍillu man yashāʾu wa-yahdī man yashāʾu fa-lā tadhhab nafsuka ʿalayhim ḥasarātin inna allāha ʿalīmun bi-mā yaṣnaʿūna

Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring, so that he looks upon it as good, (equal to one who is rightly guided)? For Allah leaves to stray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So let not thy soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them: for Allah knows well all that they do!
