Sura Ṭā Hā 20:66

قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا۟ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَىٰ

qalā bal alqū fa-idhā ḥibāluhum wa-ʿiṣīyuhum yukhayyalu ilayhi min siḥrihim annahā tasʿa

He said, "Nay, throw ye first!" Then behold their ropes and their rods-so it seemed to him on account of their magic - began to be in lively motion!

Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:44

فَأَلْقَوْا۟ حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ

fa-alqaw ḥibālahum wa-ʿiṣiyyahum wa-qālū biʿizzati firʿawna innā la-naḥnu l-ghālibūna

So they threw their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the might of Pharaoh, it is we who will certainly win!"

Sura Qāf 50:16

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ

wa-la-qad khalaqnā l-insāna wa-naʿlamu mā tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wa-naḥnu aqrabu ilayhi min ḥabli l-warīdi

It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein.

Sura al-Masad 111:5

فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ

fī jīdihā ḥablun min masadin

A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck!
