Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:117

إِن يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ إِنَٰثًا وَإِن يَدْعُونَ إِلَّا شَيْطَٰنًا مَّرِيدًا

in yadʿūna min dūnihi illā ināthan wa-in yadʿūna illā shayṭānan marīdan

(The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel!

Sura al-Tawbah 9:101

وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ مُنَٰفِقُونَ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ مَرَدُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنِّفَاقِ لَا تَعْلَمُهُمْ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٍ

wa-mimman ḥawlakum mina l-aʿrābi munāfiqūna wa-min ahli l-madīnati maradū ʿalā l-nifāqi lā taʿlamuhum naḥnu naʿlamuhum sa-nuʿadhdhibuhum marratayni thumma yuraddūna ilā ʿadhābin ʿaẓīmin

Certain of the desert Arabs round about you are hypocrites, as well as (desert Arabs) among the Medina folk: they are obstinate in hypocrisy: thou knowest them not: We know them: twice shall We punish them: and in addition shall they be sent to a grievous penalty.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:3

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُجَٰدِلُ فِى ٱللَّـهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَٰنٍ مَّرِيدٍ

wa-mina l-nāsi man yujādilu fī allāhi bi-ghayri ʿilmin wa-yattabiʿu kulla shayṭānin marīdin

And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah, without knowledge, and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion!
