Sura Yūnus 10:26

لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا۟ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ وَزِيَادَةٌ وَلَا يَرْهَقُ وُجُوهَهُمْ قَتَرٌ وَلَا ذِلَّةٌ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

li-lladhīna aḥsanū l-ḥusnā wa-ziyādatun wa-lā yarhaqu wujūhahum qatarun wa-lā dhillatun ulāʾika aṣḥābu l-jannati hum fīhā khālidūna

To those who do right is a goodly (reward)- Yea, more (than in measure)! No darkness nor shame shall cover their faces! they are companions of the garden; they will abide therein (for aye)!

Sura Yūnus 10:27

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَسَبُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ جَزَآءُ سَيِّئَةٍۭ بِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ كَأَنَّمَآ أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِطَعًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

wa-lladhīna kasabū l-sayyiʾāti jazāʾu sayyiʾatin bi-mithlihā wa-tarhaquhum dhillatun mā lahum mina allāhi min ʿāṣimin kaannamā ughshiyat wujūhuhum qiṭaʿan mina l-layli muẓliman ulāʾika aṣḥābu l-nāri hum fīhā khālidūna

But those who have earned evil will have a reward of like evil: ignominy will cover their (faces): No defender will they have from (the wrath of) Allah: Their faces will be covered, as it were, with pieces from the depth of the darkness of night: they are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (for aye)!

Sura al-Kahf 18:73

قَالَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِى بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلَا تُرْهِقْنِى مِنْ أَمْرِى عُسْرًا

qalā lā tuʾākhidhnī bi-mā nasītu wa-lā turhiqnī min amrī ʿusran

Moses said: "Rebuke me not for forgetting, nor grieve me by raising difficulties in my case."

Sura al-Kahf 18:80

وَأَمَّا ٱلْغُلَٰمُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ فَخَشِينَآ أَن يُرْهِقَهُمَا طُغْيَٰنًا وَكُفْرًا

wa-ammā l-ghulāmu fa-kāna abawāhu muʾminayni fa-khashīnā an yurhiqahumā ṭughyānan wa-kufran

"As for the youth, his parents were people of Faith, and we feared that he would grieve them by obstinate rebellion and ingratitude (to Allah and man).

Sura al-Qalam 68:43

خَٰشِعَةً أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ وَقَدْ كَانُوا۟ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَٰلِمُونَ

khāshiʿatan abṣāruhum tarhaquhum dhillatun wa-qad kānū yudʿawna ilā l-sujūdi wa-hum sālimūna

Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused).

Sura al-Maʿārij 70:44

خَٰشِعَةً أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمُ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ

khāshiʿatan abṣāruhum tarhaquhum dhillatun dhālika l-yawmu alladhī kānū yūʿadūna

Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised!

Sura al-Jinn 72:6

وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا

wa-annahu kāna rijālun mina l-insi yaʿūdhūna bi-rijālin mina l-jinni fa-zādūhum rahaqan

'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly.

Sura al-Jinn 72:13

وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ فَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِرَبِّهِۦ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا

wa-annā lammā samiʿnā l-hudā āmannā bihi fa-man yuʾmin birabbihi fa-lā yakhāfu bakhsan wa-lā rahaqan

'And as for us, since we have listened to the Guidance, we have accepted it: and any who believes in his Lord has no fear, either of a short (account) or of any injustice.

Sura al-Muddaththir 74:17

سَأُرْهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا

sa-urhiquhu ṣaʿūdan

Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities!

Sura al-ʿAbasa 80:41

تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ

tarhaquhā qataratun

Blackness will cover them:
