(21:11)

وَكَمْ  قَصَمْنَا  مِن  قَرْيَةٍ  كَانَتْ  ظَالِمَةً  وَأَنشَأْنَا  بَعْدَهَا  قَوْمًا  ءَاخَرِينَ wa‑kam qaṣamnā min qaryatin kānat ẓālimatan wa‑anshaʾnā baʿdahā qawman ākharīna
How many were the populations We utterly destroyed because of their iniquities, setting up in their places other peoples?
(21:18)

بَلْ  نَقْذِفُ  بِٱلْحَقِّ  عَلَى  ٱلْبَٰطِلِ  فَيَدْمَغُهُۥ  فَإِذَا  هُوَ  زَاهِقٌ  وَلَكُمُ  ٱلْوَيْلُ  مِمَّا  تَصِفُونَ bal naqdhifu bil‑ḥaqqi ʿalā l‑bāṭili fa‑yadmaghuhu fa‑idhā huwa zāhiqun wa‑lakumu l‑waylu mimmā taṣifūna
Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us).
(21:30)

أَوَلَمْ  يَرَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوٓا۟  أَنَّ  ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ  وَٱلْأَرْضَ  كَانَتَا  رَتْقًا  فَفَتَقْنَٰهُمَا  وَجَعَلْنَا  مِنَ  ٱلْمَآءِ  كُلَّ  شَىْءٍ  حَىٍّ  أَفَلَا  يُؤْمِنُونَ a‑wa‑lam yarā lladhīna kafarū annā l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍa kānatā ratqan fa‑fataqnāhumā wa‑jaʿalnā mina l‑māʾi kulla shayʾin ḥayin a‑fa‑lā yuʾminūna
Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
(21:42)

قُلْ  مَن  يَكْلَؤُكُم  بِٱلَّيْلِ  وَٱلنَّهَارِ  مِنَ  ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ  بَلْ  هُمْ  عَن  ذِكْرِ  رَبِّهِم  مُّعْرِضُونَ qul man yaklaʾukum bil‑layli wa‑l‑nahāri mina l‑raḥmāni bal hum ʿan dhikri rabbihim muʿriḍūna
Say: "Who can keep you safe by night and by day from (the Wrath of) (Allah) Most Gracious?" Yet they turn away from the mention of their Lord.
(21:46)

وَلَئِن  مَّسَّتْهُمْ  نَفْحَةٌ  مِّنْ  عَذَابِ  رَبِّكَ  لَيَقُولُنَّ  يَٰوَيْلَنَآ  إِنَّا  كُنَّا  ظَٰلِمِينَ wa‑laʾin massathum nafḥatun min ʿadhābi rabbika la‑yaqūlunna yā‑waylanā innā kunnā ẓālimīna
If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!"
(21:79)

فَفَهَّمْنَٰهَا  سُلَيْمَٰنَ  وَكُلًّا  ءَاتَيْنَا  حُكْمًا  وَعِلْمًا  وَسَخَّرْنَا  مَعَ  دَاوُۥدَ  ٱلْجِبَالَ  يُسَبِّحْنَ  وَٱلطَّيْرَ  وَكُنَّا  فَٰعِلِينَ fa‑fahhamnāhā sulaymāna wa‑kullan ātaynā ḥukman wa‑ʿilman wa‑sakhkharnā maʿa dāwuda l‑jibāla yusabbiḥna wa‑l‑ṭayra wa‑kunnā fāʿilīna
To Solomon We inspired the (right) understanding of the matter: to each (of them) We gave Judgment and Knowledge; it was Our power that made the hills and the birds celebrate Our praises, with David: it was We Who did (all these things).
(21:87)

وَذَا  ٱلنُّونِ  إِذ  ذَّهَبَ  مُغَٰضِبًا  فَظَنَّ  أَن  لَّن  نَّقْدِرَ  عَلَيْهِ  فَنَادَىٰ  فِى  ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ  أَن  لَّآ  إِلَٰهَ  إِلَّآ  أَنتَ  سُبْحَٰنَكَ  إِنِّى  كُنتُ  مِنَ  ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ wa‑dhā l‑nūni idh dhdhahaba mughāḍiban fa‑ẓanna an lan nnaqdira ʿalayhi fanāda l‑ẓulumāti an ilāha illā anta subḥānaka innī kuntu mina l‑ẓālimīna
And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the depths of darkness, "There is no god but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong!"
(21:96)

حَتَّىٰٓ  إِذَا  فُتِحَتْ  يَأْجُوجُ  وَمَأْجُوجُ  وَهُم  مِّن  كُلِّ  حَدَبٍ  يَنسِلُونَ ḥatta idhā futiḥat yaʾjūju wa‑maʾjūju wa‑hum min kulli ḥadabin yansilūna
Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill.
