Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:4

إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ رَجًّا

idhā rujjati l-arḍu rajjan

When the earth shall be shaken to its depths,

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:5

وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّا

wa-bussati l-jibālu bassan

And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms,

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:13

ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

thullatun mina l-awwalīna

A number of people from those of old,

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:15

عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّوْضُونَةٍ

ʿalā sururin mawḍūnatin

(They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones),

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:28

فِى سِدْرٍ مَّخْضُودٍ

fī sidrin makhḍūdin

(They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns,

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:29

وَطَلْحٍ مَّنضُودٍ

wa-ṭalḥin manḍūdin

Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,-

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:31

وَمَآءٍ مَّسْكُوبٍ

wa-māʾin maskūbin

By water flowing constantly,

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:39

ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

thullatun mina l-awwalīna

A (goodly) number from those of old,

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:40

وَثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخِرِينَ

wa-thullatun mina l-akhirīna

And a (goodly) number from those of later times.

Sura al-Wāqiʿah 56:69

ءَأَنتُمْ أَنزَلْتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُزْنِ أَمْ نَحْنُ ٱلْمُنزِلُونَ

aʾantum anzaltumūhu mina l-muzni am naḥnu l-munzilūna

Do ye bring it down (in rain) from the cloud or do We?
