(5:89) | لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ بِٱللَّغْوِ فِىٓ أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا عَقَّدتُّمُ ٱلْأَيْمَٰنَ فَكَفَّٰرَتُهُۥٓ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَٰكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلَٰثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ذَٰلِكَ كَفَّٰرَةُ أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ وَٱحْفَظُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَكُمْ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّـهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | lā yuʾākhidhukumu allāhu bil‑laghwi fī aymānikum wa‑lākin yuākhidhukum bi‑mā ʿaqqadttumu l‑aymāna fakaffāratuhu iṭʿāmu ʿasharati masākīna min awsaṭi mā tuṭʿimūna ahlīkum aw kiswatuhum aw taḥrīru raqabatin fa‑man lam yajid fa‑ṣiyāmu thalāthati ayyāmin dhālika kaffāratu aymānikum idhā ḥalaftum waḥfaẓū aymānakum ka‑dhālika yubayyinu allāhu la‑kum āyātihi la‑ʿallakum tashkurūna | Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your
oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for
expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the
food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that
is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the
oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to
you His signs, that ye may be grateful.

(6:14) | قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّـهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ | qul aghayra allāhi attakhidhu waliyyan fāṭiri l‑samāwāti wa‑l‑arḍi wa‑huwa yuṭʿimu wa‑lā yuṭʿamu qul innī umirtu an akūna awwala man aslama wa‑lā takūnanna mina l‑mushrikīna | Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the
Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not
fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to
Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with
Allah."
Sura al-Anʿām 6:14 قُلْ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّـهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّىٓ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ qul aghayra allāhi attakhidhu waliyyan fāṭiri l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-huwa yuṭʿimu wa-lā yuṭʿamu qul innī umirtu an akūna awwala man aslama wa-lā takūnanna mina l-mushrikīna Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah." |
(22:28) | لِّيَشْهَدُوا۟ مَنَٰفِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّـهِ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَٰتٍ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِيمَةِ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ ٱلْبَآئِسَ ٱلْفَقِيرَ | li‑yashhadū manāfiʿa lahum wa‑yadhkurū isma allāhi fī ayyāmin maʿlūmātin ʿalā mā razaqahum min bahīmati l‑anʿāmi fa‑kulū minhā wa‑aṭʿimū l‑bāʾisa l‑faqīra | "That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and
celebrate the name of Allah, through the Days appointed, over the cattle
which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and
feed the distressed ones in want.
Sura al-Ḥajj 22:28 لِّيَشْهَدُوا۟ مَنَٰفِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّـهِ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍ مَّعْلُومَٰتٍ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِيمَةِ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ ٱلْبَآئِسَ ٱلْفَقِيرَ li-yashhadū manāfiʿa lahum wa-yadhkurū isma allāhi fī ayyāmin maʿlūmātin ʿalā mā razaqahum min bahīmati l-anʿāmi fa-kulū minhā wa-aṭʿimū l-bāʾisa l-faqīra "That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and celebrate the name of Allah, through the Days appointed, over the cattle which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed ones in want. |
(22:36) | وَٱلْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَٰهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَٰٓئِرِ ٱللَّـهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّـهِ عَلَيْهَا صَوَآفَّ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ ٱلْقَانِعَ وَٱلْمُعْتَرَّ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرْنَٰهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | wa‑l‑budna jaʿalnāhā la‑kum min shaʿāʾiri allāhi la‑kum fīhā khayrun fa‑idhkurū isma allāhi ʿalayhā ṣawāffa fa‑idhā wajabat junūbuhā fa‑kulū minhā wa‑aṭʿimū l‑qāniʿa wa‑l‑muʿtarra ka‑dhālika sakhkharnāhā la‑kum la‑ʿallakum tashkurūna | The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the
symbols from Allah: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name
of Allah over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on
their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not
but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility: thus have We
made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful.
Sura al-Ḥajj 22:36 وَٱلْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَٰهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَٰٓئِرِ ٱللَّـهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱسْمَ ٱللَّـهِ عَلَيْهَا صَوَآفَّ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا۟ مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا۟ ٱلْقَانِعَ وَٱلْمُعْتَرَّ كَذَٰلِكَ سَخَّرْنَٰهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ wa-l-budna jaʿalnāhā la-kum min shaʿāʾiri allāhi la-kum fīhā khayrun fa-idhkurū isma allāhi ʿalayhā ṣawāffa fa-idhā wajabat junūbuhā fa-kulū minhā wa-aṭʿimū l-qāniʿa wa-l-muʿtarra ka-dhālika sakhkharnāhā la-kum la-ʿallakum tashkurūna The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the symbols from Allah: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name of Allah over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are down on their sides (after slaughter), eat ye thereof, and feed such as (beg not but) live in contentment, and such as beg with due humility: thus have We made animals subject to you, that ye may be grateful. |
(26:79) | وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ | wa‑lladhī huwa yuṭʿimunī wa‑yasqīni | "Who gives me food and drink,
Sura al-Shuʿarā 26:79 وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ wa-lladhī huwa yuṭʿimunī wa-yasqīni "Who gives me food and drink, |
(36:47) | وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّـهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ | wa‑idhā qīla lahum anfiqū mimmā razaqakumu allāhu qalā lladhīna kafarū li‑lladhīna āmanū a‑nuṭʿimu man law yashāʾu allāhu aṭʿamahu in antum illā fī ḍalālin mubīnin | And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which
Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we
then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?-
Ye are in nothing but manifest error."
Sura Yā Sin 36:47 وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَآءُ ٱللَّـهُ أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ wa-idhā qīla lahum anfiqū mimmā razaqakumu allāhu qalā lladhīna kafarū li-lladhīna āmanū a-nuṭʿimu man law yashāʾu allāhu aṭʿamahu in antum illā fī ḍalālin mubīnin And when they are told, "Spend ye of (the bounties) with which Allah has provided you," the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Shall we then feed those whom, if Allah had so willed, He would have fed, (Himself)?- Ye are in nothing but manifest error." |
(51:57) | مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ | mā urīdu minhum min rrizqin wa‑mā urīdu an yuṭʿimūni | No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they
should feed Me.
Sura al-Dhāriyāt 51:57 مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ mā urīdu minhum min rrizqin wa-mā urīdu an yuṭʿimūni No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. |
(74:44) | وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ ٱلْمِسْكِينَ | wa‑lam naku nuṭʿimu l‑miskīna | "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent;
Sura al-Muddaththir 74:44 وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ ٱلْمِسْكِينَ wa-lam naku nuṭʿimu l-miskīna "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; |
(76:8) | وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا | wa‑yuṭʿimūna l‑ṭaʿāma ʿalā ḥubbihi miskīnan wa‑yatīman wa‑asīran | And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan,
and the captive,-
Sura al-Insān 76:8 وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا wa-yuṭʿimūna l-ṭaʿāma ʿalā ḥubbihi miskīnan wa-yatīman wa-asīran And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive,- |
(76:9) | إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّـهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا | innamā nuṭʿimukum liwajhi allāhi lā nurīdu minkum jazāʾan wa‑lā shukūran | (Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do
we desire from you, nor thanks.
Sura al-Insān 76:9 إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّـهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا innamā nuṭʿimukum liwajhi allāhi lā nurīdu minkum jazāʾan wa-lā shukūran (Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks. |
(106:4) | ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ | alladhī aṭʿamahum min jūʿin wa‑āmanahum min khawfin | Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security
against fear (of danger).
Sura Quraysh 106:4 ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ alladhī aṭʿamahum min jūʿin wa-āmanahum min khawfin Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger). |
