RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(2:83)

And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israel (to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practise regular charity. Then did ye turn back, except a few among you, and ye backslide (even now).
(2:180)

كُتِبَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  إِذَا  حَضَرَ  أَحَدَكُمُ  ٱلْمَوْتُ  إِن  تَرَكَ  خَيْرًا  ٱلْوَصِيَّةُ  لِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ  وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ  بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ  حَقًّا  عَلَى  ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ kutiba ʿalaykum idhā ḥaḍara aḥadakumu l‑mawtu in taraka khayran l‑waṣīyatu lil‑wālidayni wa‑l‑aqrabīna bil‑maʿrūfi ḥaqqan ʿalā l‑muttaqīna
It is prescribed, when death approaches any of you, if he leave any goods that he make a bequest to parents and next of kin, according to reasonable usage; this is due from the Allah-fearing.
(2:215)

They ask thee what they should spend (In charity). Say: Whatever ye spend that is good, is for parents and kindred and orphans and those in want and for wayfarers. And whatever ye do that is good, -Allah knoweth it well.

Surah 4 al-Nisāʾ (The Women)

لِّلرِّجَالِ  نَصِيبٌ  مِّمَّا  تَرَكَ  ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ  وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ  وَلِلنِّسَآءِ  نَصِيبٌ  مِّمَّا  تَرَكَ  ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ  وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ  مِمَّا  قَلَّ  مِنْهُ  أَوْ  كَثُرَ  نَصِيبًا  مَّفْرُوضًا lil‑rijāli naṣībun mimmā taraka l‑wālidāni wa‑l‑aqrabūna wa‑lil‑nisāʾi naṣībun mimmā taraka l‑wālidāni wa‑l‑aqrabūna mimmā qalla minhu aw kathura naṣīban mafrūḍan
From what is left by parents and those nearest related there is a share for men and a share for women, whether the property be small or large,-a determinate share.
(4:33)

وَلِكُلٍّ  جَعَلْنَا  مَوَٰلِىَ  مِمَّا  تَرَكَ  ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ  وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ  وَٱلَّذِينَ  عَقَدَتْ  أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ  فَـَٔاتُوهُمْ  نَصِيبَهُمْ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  كَانَ  عَلَىٰ  كُلِّ  شَىْءٍ  شَهِيدًا wa‑li‑kullin jaʿalnā mawāliya mimmā taraka l‑wālidāni wa‑l‑aqrabūna wa‑lladhīna ʿaqadat aymānukum fa‑ātūhum naṣībahum inna allāha kāna ʿalā kulli shayʾin shahīdan
To (benefit) every one, We have appointed shares and heirs to property left by parents and relatives. To those, also, to whom your right hand was pledged, give their due portion. For truly Allah is witness to all things.
(4:36)

وَٱعْبُدُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  وَلَا  تُشْرِكُوا۟  بِهِۦ  شَيْـًٔا  وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ  إِحْسَٰنًا  وَبِذِى  ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ  وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ  وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ  وَٱلْجَارِ  ذِى  ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ  وَٱلْجَارِ  ٱلْجُنُبِ  وَٱلصَّاحِبِ  بِٱلْجَنۢبِ  وَٱبْنِ  ٱلسَّبِيلِ  وَمَا  مَلَكَتْ  أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  لَا  يُحِبُّ  مَن  كَانَ  مُخْتَالًا  فَخُورًا wa‑iʿbudū allāha wa‑lā tushrikū bihi shayʾan wa‑bil‑wālidayni iḥsānan wa‑bidhī l‑qurbā wa‑l‑yatāmā wa‑l‑masākīni wa‑l‑jāri dhī l‑qurbā wa‑l‑jāri l‑junubi wa‑l‑ṣāḥibi bil‑janbi wa‑ibni l‑sabīli wa‑mā malakat aymānukum inna allāha yuḥibbu man kāna mukhtālan fakhūran
Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious;-

O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Surah 6 al-Anʿām (The Cattle)
(6:151)

قُلْ  تَعَالَوْا۟  أَتْلُ  مَا  حَرَّمَ  رَبُّكُمْ  عَلَيْكُمْ  أَلَّا  تُشْرِكُوا۟  بِهِۦ  شَيْـًٔا  وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ  إِحْسَٰنًا  وَلَا  تَقْتُلُوٓا۟  أَوْلَٰدَكُم  مِّنْ  إِمْلَٰقٍ  نَّحْنُ  نَرْزُقُكُمْ  وَإِيَّاهُمْ  وَلَا  تَقْرَبُوا۟  ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ  مَا  ظَهَرَ  مِنْهَا  وَمَا  بَطَنَ  وَلَا  تَقْتُلُوا۟  ٱلنَّفْسَ  ٱلَّتِى  حَرَّمَ  ٱللَّـهُ  إِلَّا  بِٱلْحَقِّ  ذَٰلِكُمْ  وَصَّىٰكُم  بِهِۦ  لَعَلَّكُمْ  تَعْقِلُونَ qul taʿālaw atlu ḥarrama rabbukum ʿalaykum allā tushrikū bihi shayʾan wa‑bil‑wālidayni iḥsānan wa‑lā taqtulū awlādakum min imlāqin nnaḥnu narzuqukum wa‑iyyāhum wa‑lā taqrabū l‑fawāḥisha ẓahara minhā wa‑mā baṭana wa‑lā taqtulū l‑nafsa allatī ḥarrama allāhu illā bil‑ḥaqqi dhālikum waṣṣakum bihi la‑ʿallakum taʿqilūna
Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.

Surah 17 al-Isrāʾ (The Children of Israel)

Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.

Surah 19 Maryam (Mary)
(19:32)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلنَّاسُ  ٱتَّقُوا۟  رَبَّكُمْ  وَٱخْشَوْا۟  يَوْمًا  لَّا  يَجْزِى  وَالِدٌ  عَن  وَلَدِهِۦ  وَلَا  مَوْلُودٌ  هُوَ  جَازٍ  عَن  وَالِدِهِۦ  شَيْـًٔا  إِنَّ  وَعْدَ  ٱللَّـهِ  حَقٌّ  فَلَا  تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ  ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ  ٱلدُّنْيَا  وَلَا  يَغُرَّنَّكُم  بِٱللَّـهِ  ٱلْغَرُورُ yā‑ayyuhā l‑nāsu ittaqū rabbakum wa‑ikhshaw yawman yajzī wālidun ʿan waladihi wa‑lā mawlūdun huwa jāzin ʿan wālidihi shayʾan inna waʿda allāhi ḥaqqun fa‑lā taghurrannakumu l‑ḥayātu l‑dunyā wa‑lā yaghurrannakum billāhi l‑gharūru
O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.
