Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:64

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا لِيُطَاعَ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّـهِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذ ظَّلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ جَآءُوكَ فَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَٱسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيمًا

wa-mā arsalnā min rrasūlin illā li-yuṭāʿa bi-idhni allāhi wa-law annahum idh ẓalamū anfusahum jāʾūka fa-astaghfarū allāha wa-astaghfara lahumu l-rasūlu la-wajadū allāha tawwāban raḥīman

We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful.

Sura al-Ghāfir 40:18

وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْأَزِفَةِ إِذِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ لَدَى ٱلْحَنَاجِرِ كَٰظِمِينَ مَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنْ حَمِيمٍ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ يُطَاعُ

wa-andhirhum yawma l-azifati idhi l-qulūbu lada l-ḥanājiri kāẓimīna mā lil-ẓālimīna min ḥamīmin wa-lā shafīʿin yuṭāʿu

Warn them of the Day that is (ever) drawing near, when the hearts will (come) right up to the throats to choke (them); No intimate friend nor intercessor will the wrong-doers have, who could be listened to.
