Sura al-Mujādilah 58:8

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ نُهُوا۟ عَنِ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَٰجَوْنَ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَآءُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ ٱللَّـهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا ٱللَّـهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

a-lam tara ilā lladhīna nuhū ʿani l-najwā thumma yaʿūdūna li-mā nuhū ʿanhu wa-yatanājawna bi-l-ithmi wa-l-ʿudwāni wa-maʿṣīati l-rasūli wa-idhā jāʾūka ḥayyawka bi-mā lam yuḥayyika bihi allāhu wa-yaqūlūna fī anfusihim lawlā yuʿadhdhibunā allāhu bi-mā naqūlu ḥasbuhum jahannamu yaṣlawnahā fa-bisa l-maṣīru

Turnest thou not thy sight towards those who were forbidden secret counsels yet revert to that which they were forbidden (to do)? And they hold secret counsels among themselves for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Messenger. And when they come to thee, they salute thee, not as Allah salutes thee, (but in crooked ways): And they say to themselves, "Why does not Allah punish us for our words?" Enough for them is Hell: In it will they burn, and evil is that destination!
