Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:30

يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوٓءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ أَمَدًۢا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ نَفْسَهُۥ وَٱللَّـهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ

yawma tajidu kullu nafsin mā ʿamilat min khayrin muḥḍaran wa-mā ʿamilat min sūʾin tawaddu law annā baynahā wa-baynahu amadan baʿīdan wa-yuḥadhdhirukumu allāhu nafsahu wallāhu raʾūfun bil-ʿibādi

"On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him."

Sura al-Ḥadīd 57:16

أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَٰسِقُونَ

a-lam yani li-lladhīna āmanū an takhshaʿa qulūbuhum lidhikri allāhi wa-mā nazala mina l-ḥaqqi wa-lā yakūnū kalladhīna ūtū l-kitāba min qablu fa-ṭāla ʿalayhimu l-amadu faqasat qulūbuhum wa-kathīrun minhum fāsiqūna

Has not the Time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors.
