Surah 3 Āl-ʿImrān (The Family of Imran)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(3:180)

And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Surah 4 al-Nisāʾ (The Women)
(4:37)

ٱلَّذِينَ  يَبْخَلُونَ  وَيَأْمُرُونَ  ٱلنَّاسَ  بِٱلْبُخْلِ  وَيَكْتُمُونَ  مَآ  ءَاتَىٰهُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  مِن  فَضْلِهِۦ  وَأَعْتَدْنَا  لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ  عَذَابًا  مُّهِينًا lladhīna yabkhalūna wa‑yaʾmurūna l‑nāsa bil‑bukhli wa‑yaktumūna ātahumu allāhu min faḍlihi wa‑aʿtadnā lil‑kāfirīna ʿadhāban muhīnan
(Nor) those who are niggardly or enjoin niggardliness on others, or hide the bounties which Allah hath bestowed on them; for We have prepared, for those who resist Faith, a punishment that steeps them in contempt;-

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)
(9:76)

But when He did bestow of His bounty, they became covetous, and turned back (from their covenant), averse (from its fulfilment).

Surah 47 Muḥammad (Muhammad)
(47:37)

إِن  يَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَا  فَيُحْفِكُمْ  تَبْخَلُوا۟  وَيُخْرِجْ  أَضْغَٰنَكُمْ in yasʾalkumūhā fa‑yuḥfikum tabkhalū wa‑yukhrij aḍghānakum
If He were to ask you for all of them, and press you, ye would covetously withhold, and He would bring out all your ill-feeling.

Surah 57 al-Ḥadīd (The Iron)
(57:24)

ٱلَّذِينَ  يَبْخَلُونَ  وَيَأْمُرُونَ  ٱلنَّاسَ  بِٱلْبُخْلِ  وَمَن  يَتَوَلَّ  فَإِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  هُوَ  ٱلْغَنِىُّ  ٱلْحَمِيدُ lladhīna yabkhalūna wa‑yaʾmurūna l‑nāsa bil‑bukhli wa‑man yatawalla fa‑inna allāha huwa l‑ghaniyyu l‑ḥamīdu
Such persons as are covetous and commend covetousness to men. And if any turn back (from Allah's Way), verily Allah is Free of all Needs, Worthy of all Praise.
