Sura Hūd 11:27

فَقَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦ مَا نَرَىٰكَ إِلَّا بَشَرًا مِّثْلَنَا وَمَا نَرَىٰكَ ٱتَّبَعَكَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ أَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِىَ ٱلرَّأْىِ وَمَا نَرَىٰ لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِن فَضْلٍۭ بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كَٰذِبِينَ

fa-qāla l-malaʾu lladhīna kafarū min qawmihi mā naraka illā basharan mithlanā wa-mā naraka ittabaʿaka illā lladhīna hum arādhilunā bādiya l-raʾyi wa-mā narā la-kum ʿalaynā min faḍlin bal naẓunnukum kādhibīna

But the chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "We see (in) thee nothing but a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow thee but the meanest among us, in judgment immature: Nor do we see in you (all) any merit above us: in fact we thing ye are liars!"

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:25

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ وَٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلْنَٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَآءً ٱلْعَٰكِفُ فِيهِ وَٱلْبَادِ وَمَن يُرِدْ فِيهِ بِإِلْحَادٍۭ بِظُلْمٍ نُّذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

inna lladhīna kafarū wa-yaṣuddūna ʿan sabīli allāhi wa-l-masjidi l-ḥarāmi alladhī jaʿalnāhu lil-nāsi sawāʾan l-ʿākifu fīhi wa-l-bādi wa-man yurid fīhi bi-ilḥādin bi-ẓulmin nnudhiqhu min ʿadhābin alīmin

As to those who have rejected (Allah), and would keep back (men) from the Way of Allah, and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made (open) to (all) men - equal is the dweller there and the visitor from the country - and any whose purpose therein is profanity or wrong-doing - them will We cause to taste of a most Grievous Penalty.

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:37

وَإِذْ تَقُولُ لِلَّذِىٓ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ زَوْجَكَ وَٱتَّقِ ٱللَّـهَ وَتُخْفِى فِى نَفْسِكَ مَا ٱللَّـهُ مُبْدِيهِ وَتَخْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ وَٱللَّـهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَىٰهُ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ زَيْدٌ مِّنْهَا وَطَرًا زَوَّجْنَٰكَهَا لِكَىْ لَا يَكُونَ عَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَرَجٌ فِىٓ أَزْوَٰجِ أَدْعِيَآئِهِمْ إِذَا قَضَوْا۟ مِنْهُنَّ وَطَرًا وَكَانَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّـهِ مَفْعُولًا

wa-idh taqūlu lilladhī anʿama allāhu ʿalayhi wa-anʿamta ʿalayhi amsik ʿalayka zawjaka wa-ittaqi allāha wa-tukhfī fī nafsika mā allāhu mubdīhi wa-takhsha l-nāsa wallāhu aḥaqqu an takhshahu fa-lammā qaḍa zaydun minhā waṭaran zawwajnākahā li-kai lā yakūna ʿalā l-muʾminīna ḥarajun fī azwāji adʿiyāʾihim idhā qaḍaw minhunna waṭaran wa-kāna amru allāhi mafʿūlan

Behold! Thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour: "Retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah." But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst fear Allah. Then when Zaid had dissolved (his marriage) with her, with the necessary (formality), We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the Believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wives of their adopted sons, when the latter have dissolved with the necessary (formality) (their marriage) with them. And Allah's command must be fulfilled.
