Sura Yūsuf 12:53

وَمَآ أُبَرِّئُ نَفْسِىٓ إِنَّ ٱلنَّفْسَ لَأَمَّارَةٌۢ بِٱلسُّوٓءِ إِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّ رَبِّى غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

wa-mā ubarriʾu nafsī inna l-nafsa la-ammāratun bil-sūʾi illā mā raḥima rabbī inna rabbī ghafūrun raḥīmun

"Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame): the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy: but surely my Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."

Sura al-Aḥzāb 33:69

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاذَوْا۟ مُوسَىٰ فَبَرَّأَهُ ٱللَّـهُ مِمَّا قَالُوا۟ وَكَانَ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ وَجِيهًا

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū lā takūnū kalladhīna ādhaw mūsā fa-barraʾahu allāhu mimmā qālū wa-kāna ʿinda allāhi wajīhan

O ye who believe! Be ye not like those who vexed and insulted Moses, but Allah cleared him of the (calumnies) they had uttered: and he was honourable in Allah's sight.
