Then We raised you up after your death: Ye had the chance to be grateful.

Surah 5 al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread)
(5:12)

وَلَقَدْ  أَخَذَ  ٱللَّـهُ  مِيثَٰقَ  بَنِىٓ  إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ  وَبَعَثْنَا  مِنْهُمُ  ٱثْنَىْ  عَشَرَ  نَقِيبًا  وَقَالَ  ٱللَّـهُ  إِنِّى  مَعَكُمْ  لَئِنْ  أَقَمْتُمُ  ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ  وَءَاتَيْتُمُ  ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ  وَءَامَنتُم  بِرُسُلِى  وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ  وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ  ٱللَّـهَ  قَرْضًا  حَسَنًا  لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ  عَنكُمْ  سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ  وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ  جَنَّٰتٍ  تَجْرِى  مِن  تَحْتِهَا  ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ  فَمَن  كَفَرَ  بَعْدَ  ذَٰلِكَ  مِنكُمْ  فَقَدْ  ضَلَّ  سَوَآءَ  ٱلسَّبِيلِ wa‑la‑qad akhadha allāhu mīthāqa banī isrāʾīla wa‑baʿathnā minhumu ithnā ʿashara naqīban wa‑qāla allāhu innī maʿakum lain aqamtumu l‑ṣalāta wa‑ātaytumu l‑zakāta wa‑āmantum birusulī wa‑ʿazzartumūhum wa‑aqraḍtumu allāha qarḍan ḥasanan llaukaffiranna ʿankum sayyiʾātikum wa‑la‑udkhilannakum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l‑anhāru fa‑man kafara baʿda dhālika minkum fa‑qad ḍalla sawāʾa l‑sabīli
Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, practise regular charity, believe in my messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude."

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)
(7:103)

Then after them We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they wrongfully rejected them: So see what was the end of those who made mischief.

Surah 10 Yūnus (Jonah)
(10:74)

Then after him We sent (many) messengers to their peoples: they brought them Clear Signs, but they would not believe what they had already rejected beforehand. Thus do We seal the hearts of the transgressors.
(10:75)

Then after them sent We Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and his chiefs with Our Signs. But they were arrogant: they were a people in sin.

Surah 16 al-Naḥl (The Bee)
(16:36)

وَلَقَدْ  بَعَثْنَا  فِى  كُلِّ  أُمَّةٍ  رَّسُولًا  أَنِ  ٱعْبُدُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟  ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ  فَمِنْهُم  مَّنْ  هَدَى  ٱللَّـهُ  وَمِنْهُم  مَّنْ  حَقَّتْ  عَلَيْهِ  ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ  فَسِيرُوا۟  فِى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  فَٱنظُرُوا۟  كَيْفَ  كَانَ  عَٰقِبَةُ  ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ wa‑la‑qad baʿathnā kulli ummatin rrasūlan ani iʿbudū allāha wa‑ijtanibū l‑ṭāghūta fa‑minhum man hadā allāhu wa‑minhum man ḥaqqat ʿalayhi l‑ḍalālatu fa‑sīrū l‑arḍi fa‑inẓurū kayfa kāna ʿāqibatu l‑mukadhdhibīna
For We assuredly sent amongst every People a messenger, (with the Command), "Serve Allah, and eschew Evil": of the People were some whom Allah guided, and some on whom error became inevitably (established). So travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who denied (the Truth).
(16:84)

One Day We shall raise from all Peoples a Witness: then will no excuse be accepted from Unbelievers, nor will they receive any favours.
(16:89)

وَيَوْمَ  نَبْعَثُ  فِى  كُلِّ  أُمَّةٍ  شَهِيدًا  عَلَيْهِم  مِّنْ  أَنفُسِهِمْ  وَجِئْنَا  بِكَ  شَهِيدًا  عَلَىٰ  هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ  وَنَزَّلْنَا  عَلَيْكَ  ٱلْكِتَٰبَ  تِبْيَٰنًا  لِّكُلِّ  شَىْءٍ  وَهُدًى  وَرَحْمَةً  وَبُشْرَىٰ  لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ wa‑yawma nabʿathu kulli ummatin shahīdan ʿalayhim min anfusihim wa‑jiʾnā bika shahīdan ʿalā hāʾulāʾi wa‑nazzalnā ʿalayka l‑kitāba tibyānan li‑kulli shayʾin wa‑hudan wa‑raḥmatan wa‑bushrā lil‑muslimīna
One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims.

Surah 17 al-Isrāʾ (The Children of Israel)
(17:5)

When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare: They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled.
(17:15)

مَّنِ  ٱهْتَدَىٰ  فَإِنَّمَا  يَهْتَدِى  لِنَفْسِهِۦ  وَمَن  ضَلَّ  فَإِنَّمَا  يَضِلُّ  عَلَيْهَا  وَلَا  تَزِرُ  وَازِرَةٌ  وِزْرَ  أُخْرَىٰ  وَمَا  كُنَّا  مُعَذِّبِينَ  حَتَّىٰ  نَبْعَثَ  رَسُولًا mani ihtadā fa‑innamā yahtadī li‑nafsihi wa‑man ḍalla fa‑innamā yaḍillu ʿalayhā wa‑lā taziru wāziratun wizra ukhrā wa‑mā kunnā muʿadhdhibīna ḥattā nabʿatha rasūlan
Who receiveth guidance, receiveth it for his own benefit: who goeth astray doth so to his own loss: No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another: nor would We visit with Our Wrath until We had sent an messenger (to give warning).

Surah 18 al-Kahf (The Cave)
(18:12)

Then We roused them, in order to test which of the two parties was best at calculating the term of years they had tarried!
(18:19)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ  بَعَثْنَٰهُمْ  لِيَتَسَآءَلُوا۟  بَيْنَهُمْ  قَالَ  قَآئِلٌ  مِّنْهُمْ  كَمْ  لَبِثْتُمْ  قَالُوا۟  لَبِثْنَا  يَوْمًا  أَوْ  بَعْضَ  يَوْمٍ  قَالُوا۟  رَبُّكُمْ  أَعْلَمُ  بِمَا  لَبِثْتُمْ  فَٱبْعَثُوٓا۟  أَحَدَكُم  بِوَرِقِكُمْ  هَٰذِهِۦٓ  إِلَى  ٱلْمَدِينَةِ  فَلْيَنظُرْ  أَيُّهَآ  أَزْكَىٰ  طَعَامًا  فَلْيَأْتِكُم  بِرِزْقٍ  مِّنْهُ  وَلْيَتَلَطَّفْ  وَلَا  يُشْعِرَنَّ  بِكُمْ  أَحَدًا wa‑ka‑dhālika baʿathnāhum li‑yatasāʾalū baynahum qalā qāʾilun minhum kam labithtum qālū labithnā yawman aw baʿḍa yawmin qālū rabbukum aʿlamu bi‑mā labithtum fa‑ibʿathū aḥadakum bi‑wariqikum hādhihi ilā l‑madīnati fa‑l‑yanẓur ayyuhā azka ṭaʿāman fa‑l‑yaʾtikum birizqin minhu wa‑l‑yatalaṭṭaf wa‑lā yushʿiranna bikum aḥadan
Such (being their state), we raised them up (from sleep), that they might question each other. Said one of them, "How long have ye stayed (here)?" They said, "We have stayed (perhaps) a day, or part of a day." (At length) they (all) said, "Allah (alone) knows best how long ye have stayed here.... Now send ye then one of you with this money of yours to the town: let him find out which is the best food (to be had) and bring some to you, that (ye may) satisfy your hunger therewith: And let him behave with care and courtesy, and let him not inform any one about you.

Surah 19 Maryam (Mary)
(19:33)

"So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

Surah 25 al-Furqān (The Criterion)
(25:51)

Had it been Our Will, We could have sent a warner to every centre of population.
