Surah 4 al-Nisāʾ (The Women)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(4:81)

وَيَقُولُونَ  طَاعَةٌ  فَإِذَا  بَرَزُوا۟  مِنْ  عِندِكَ  بَيَّتَ  طَآئِفَةٌ  مِّنْهُمْ  غَيْرَ  ٱلَّذِى  تَقُولُ  وَٱللَّـهُ  يَكْتُبُ  مَا  يُبَيِّتُونَ  فَأَعْرِضْ  عَنْهُمْ  وَتَوَكَّلْ  عَلَى  ٱللَّـهِ  وَكَفَىٰ  بِٱللَّـهِ  وَكِيلًا wa‑yaqūlūna ṭāʿatun fa‑idhā barazū min ʿindika bayyata ṭāʾifatun minhum ghayra alladhī taqūlu wallāhu yaktubu yubayyitūna fa‑aʿriḍ ʿanhum wa‑tawakkal ʿalā allāhi wa‑kafā billāhi wakīlan
They have "Obedience" on their lips; but when they leave thee, a section of them Meditate all night on things very different from what thou tellest them. But Allah records their nightly (plots): So keep clear of them, and put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.
(4:108)

They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.

Surah 27 al-Naml (The Ant)
(27:49)

They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"
