Sura al-Baqara 2:25

وَبَشِّرِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوا۟ مِنْهَا مِن ثَمَرَةٍ رِّزْقًا قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى رُزِقْنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَأُتُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُتَشَٰبِهًا وَلَهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَهُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

wa-bashshiri lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti annā lahum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru kullamā ruziqū minhā min thamaratin rizqan qālū hādhā alladhī ruziqnā min qablu wa-utū bihi mutashābihan wa-lahum fīhā azwājun muṭahharatun wa-hum fīhā khālidūna

But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever).

Sura al-Baqara 2:164

إِنَّ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلَّتِى تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ ٱلنَّاسَ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّـهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن مَّآءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ وَٱلسَّحَابِ ٱلْمُسَخَّرِ بَيْنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ

inna fī khalqi l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-ikhtilāfi l-layli wa-l-nahāri wa-l-fulki allatī tajrī fī l-baḥri bi-mā yanfaʿu l-nāsa wa-mā anzala allāhu mina l-samāʾi min māʾin fa-aḥyā bihi l-arḍa baʿda mawtihā wa-baththa fīhā min kulli dābbatin wa-taṣrīfi l-riyāḥi wa-l-saḥābi l-mushkhkhari bayna l-samāʾi wa-l-arḍi la-āyātin li-qawmin yaʿqilūna

Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.

Sura al-Baqara 2:266

أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن تَكُونَ لَهُۥ جَنَّةٌ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ لَهُۥ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ وَأَصَابَهُ ٱلْكِبَرُ وَلَهُۥ ذُرِّيَّةٌ ضُعَفَآءُ فَأَصَابَهَآ إِعْصَارٌ فِيهِ نَارٌ فَٱحْتَرَقَتْ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّـهُ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَفَكَّرُونَ

ayawaddu aḥadukum an takūna lahu jannatun min nakhīlin wa-aʿnābin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru lahu fīhā min kulli l-thamarāti wa-aṣābahu l-kibaru wa-lahu dhurrīyatun ḍuʿafāʾu fa-aṣābahā iʿṣārun fīhi nārun fa-iḥtaraqat ka-dhālika yubayyinu allāhu lakumu l-ayāti la-ʿallakum tatafakkarūna

Does any of you wish that he should have a garden with date-palms and vines and streams flowing underneath, and all kinds of fruit, while he is stricken with old age, and his children are not strong (enough to look after themselves)- that it should be caught in a whirlwind, with fire therein, and be burnt up? Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His) Signs; that ye may consider.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:15

قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم بِخَيْرٍ مِّن ذَٰلِكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَٰنٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ وَٱللَّـهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ

qul aunabbiukum bi-khayrin min dhālikum li-lladhīna ittaqaw ʿinda rabbihim jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wa-azwājun muṭahharatun wa-riḍwānun mina allāhi wallāhu baṣīrun bil-ʿibādi

Say: Shall I give you glad tidings of things Far better than those? For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath; therein is their eternal home; with companions pure (and holy); and the good pleasure of Allah. For in Allah's sight are (all) His servants,-

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:136

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ

ulāʾika jazāuhum maghfiratun min rabbihim wa-jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā waniʿma ajru l-ʿāmilīna

For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:195

فَٱسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّى لَآ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَٰمِلٍ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ بَعْضُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْضٍ فَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ وَأُخْرِجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمْ وَأُوذُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِى وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ وَقُتِلُوا۟ لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ثَوَابًا مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّـهِ وَٱللَّـهُ عِندَهُۥ حُسْنُ ٱلثَّوَابِ

fa-istajāba lahum rabbuhum annī lā uḍīʿu ʿamala ʿāmilin minkum min dhakarin aw unthā baʿḍukum min baʿḍin fa-lladhīna hājarū wa-ukhrijū min diyārihim wa-ūdhū fī sabīlī wa-qātalū wa-qutilū la-ukaffiranna ʿanhum sayyiʾātihim wa-la-udkhilannahum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru thawāban min ʿindi allāhi wallāhu ʿindahu ḥusnu l-thawābi

And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:198

لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلًا مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ

lākini lladhīna ittaqaw rabbahum lahum jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā nuzulan min ʿindi allāhi wa-mā ʿinda allāhi khayrun lil-abrāri

On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from the presence of Allah; and that which is in the presence of Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:13

تِلْكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّـهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

tilka ḥudūdu allāhi wa-man yuṭiʿi allāha wa-rasūlahu yudkhilhu jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wa-dhālika l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath, to abide therein (for ever) and that will be the supreme achievement.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:57

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا لَّهُمْ فِيهَآ أَزْوَٰجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَنُدْخِلُهُمْ ظِلًّا ظَلِيلًا

wa-lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti sa-nudkhiluhum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan lahum fīhā azwājun muṭahharatun wa-nudkhiluhum ẓillan ẓalīlan

But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Therein shall they have companions pure and holy: We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:122

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَنُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا وَعْدَ ٱللَّـهِ حَقًّا وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ قِيلًا

wa-lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti sa-nudkhiluhum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan waʿda allāhi ḥaqqan wa-man aṣdaqu mina allāhi qīlan

But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness,- we shall soon admit them to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,-to dwell therein for ever. Allah's promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah's?

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:12

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّـهُ مِيثَٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ ٱثْنَىْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًا وَقَالَ ٱللَّـهُ إِنِّى مَعَكُمْ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَيْتُمُ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَءَامَنتُم بِرُسُلِى وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ ٱللَّـهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ

wa-la-qad akhadha allāhu mīthāqa banī isrāʾīla wa-baʿathnā minhumu ithnā ʿashara naqīban wa-qāla allāhu innī maʿakum lain aqamtumu l-ṣalāta wa-ātaytumu l-zakāta wa-āmantum birusulī wa-ʿazzartumūhum wa-aqraḍtumu allāha qarḍan ḥasanan llaukaffiranna ʿankum sayyiʾātikum wa-la-udkhilannakum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru fa-man kafara baʿda dhālika minkum fa-qad ḍalla sawāʾa l-sabīli

Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, practise regular charity, believe in my messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude."

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:85

فَأَثَٰبَهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ بِمَا قَالُوا۟ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

fa-athābahumu allāhu bi-mā qālū jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wa-dhālika jazāʾu l-muḥsinīna

And for this their prayer hath Allah rewarded them with gardens, with rivers flowing underneath,- their eternal home. Such is the recompense of those who do good.

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:119

قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ هَٰذَا يَوْمُ يَنفَعُ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ صِدْقُهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا رَّضِىَ ٱللَّـهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

qalā allāhu hādhā yawmu yanfaʿu l-ṣādiqīna ṣidquhum lahum jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan raḍiya allāhu ʿanhum wa-raḍū ʿanhu dhālika l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah: That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).

Sura al-Anʿām 6:6

أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ مَّكَّنَّٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا ءَاخَرِينَ

a-lam yaraw kam ahlaknā min qablihim min qarnin makkannāhum fī l-arḍi mā lam numakkin la-kum wa-arsalnā l-samāʾa ʿalayhim midrāran wa-jaʿalnā l-anhāra tajrī min taḥtihim fa-ahlaknāhum bi-dhunūbihim wa-anshaʾnā min baʿdihim qarnan ākharīna

See they not how many of those before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the earth, in strength such as We have not given to you - for whom We poured out rain from the skies in abundance, and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them, and raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them).

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:43

وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِى صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَقَالُوا۟ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ ٱلَّذِى هَدَىٰنَا لِهَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِىَ لَوْلَآ أَنْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّـهُ لَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَنُودُوٓا۟ أَن تِلْكُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

wanazaʿnā mā fī ṣudūrihim min ghillin tajrī min taḥtihimu l-anhāru wa-qālū l-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī hadanā li-hādhā wa-mā kunnā li-nahtadiya lawlā an hadanā allāhu la-qad jāʾat rusulu rabbinā bil-ḥaqqi wa-nūdū an tilkumu l-jannatu ūrithtumūhā bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;- beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: "Praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah: indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our Lord brought unto us." And they shall hear the cry: "Behold! the garden before you! Ye have been made its inheritors, for your deeds (of righteousness)."

Sura al-Tawbah 9:72

وَعَدَ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِى جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ وَرِضْوَٰنٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ أَكْبَرُ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

waʿada allāhu l-muʾminīna wa-l-muʾmināti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wa-masākina ṭayyibatan fī jannāti ʿadnin wa-riḍwānun mina allāhi akbaru dhālika huwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

Allah hath promised to Believers, men and women, gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein, and beautiful mansions in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss is the good pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme felicity.

Sura al-Tawbah 9:89

أَعَدَّ ٱللَّـهُ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

aʿadda allāhu lahum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā dhālika l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

Allah hath prepared for them gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein: that is the supreme felicity.

Sura al-Tawbah 9:100

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ وَٱلْأَنصَارِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَٰنٍ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّـهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى تَحْتَهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

wa-l-sābiqūna l-awwalūna mina l-muhājirīna wa-l-anṣāri wa-lladhīna ittabaʿūhum bi-iḥsānin raḍiya allāhu ʿanhum wa-raḍū ʿanhu wa-aʿadda lahum jannātin tajrī taḥtahā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan dhālika l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

The vanguard (of Islam)- the first of those who forsook (their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds,- well-pleased is Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that is the supreme felicity.

Sura Yūnus 10:9

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِإِيمَٰنِهِمْ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

inna lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti yahdīhim rabbuhum bi-īmānihim tajrī min taḥtihimu l-anhāru fī jannāti l-naʿīmi

Those who believe, and work righteousness,- their Lord will guide them because of their faith: beneath them will flow rivers in gardens of bliss.

Sura Yūnus 10:22

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا جَآءَتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَٰذِهِۦ لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ

huwa alladhī yusayyirukum fī l-barri wa-l-baḥri ḥatta idhā kuntum fī l-fulki wa-jarayna bihim birīḥin ṭayyibatin wa-fariḥū bihā jāathā rīḥun ʿāṣifun wa-jāʾahumu l-mawju min kulli makānin wa-ẓannū annahum uḥīṭa bihim daʿawu allāha mukhliṣīna lahu l-dīna lain anjaytanā min hādhihi la-nakūnanna mina l-shākirīna

He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships;- they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him saying, "If thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!"

Sura Hūd 11:42

وَهِىَ تَجْرِى بِهِمْ فِى مَوْجٍ كَٱلْجِبَالِ وَنَادَىٰ نُوحٌ ٱبْنَهُۥ وَكَانَ فِى مَعْزِلٍ يَٰبُنَىَّ ٱرْكَب مَّعَنَا وَلَا تَكُن مَّعَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

wahiya tajrī bihim fī mawjin ka-l-jibāli wa-nādā nūḥun abnahu wa-kāna fī maʿzilin yā-bunayya irkab maʿanā wa-lā takun maʿa l-kāfirīna

So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!"

Sura al-Raʿd 13:2

ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْأَيَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ

allāhu alladhī rafaʿa l-samāwāti bi-ghayri ʿamadin tarawnahā thumma istawā ʿalā l-ʿarshi wa-sakhkhara l-shamsa wa-l-qamara kullun yajrī li-ajalin musamman yudabbiru l-amra yufaṣṣilu l-ayāti laʿallakum bi-liqāʾi rabbikum tūqinūna

Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; is firmly established on the throne (of authority); He has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law)! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your Lord.

Sura al-Raʿd 13:35

مَّثَلُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِى وُعِدَ ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ أُكُلُهَا دَآئِمٌ وَظِلُّهَا تِلْكَ عُقْبَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّعُقْبَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ٱلنَّارُ

mathalu l-jannati allatī wuʿida l-muttaqūna tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru ukuluhā dāʾimun wa-ẓilluhā tilka ʿuqba lladhīna ittaqaw wa-ʿuqbā l-kāfirīna l-nāru

The parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised!- beneath it flow rivers: perpetual is the enjoyment thereof and the shade therein: such is the end of the Righteous; and the end of Unbelievers in the Fire.

Sura Ibrāhīm 14:23

وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَٰمٌ

wa-udkhila lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā bi-idhni rabbihim taḥiyyatuhum fīhā salāmun

But those who believe and work righteousness will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow,- to dwell therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be: "Peace!"

Sura Ibrāhīm 14:32

ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِىَ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ

allāhu alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa wa-anzala mina l-samāʾi māʾan faakhraja bihi mina l-thamarāti rizqan la-kum wa-sakhkhara lakumu l-fulka li-tajriya fī l-baḥri bi-amrihi wa-sakhkhara lakumu l-anhāra

It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:31

جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَآءُونَ كَذَٰلِكَ يَجْزِى ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

jannātu ʿadnin yadkhulūnahā tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru lahum fīhā mā yashāʾūna ka-dhālika yajzī allāhu l-muttaqīna

Gardens of Eternity which they will enter: beneath them flow (pleasant) rivers: they will have therein all that they wish: thus doth Allah reward the righteous,-

Sura al-Kahf 18:31

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَيَلْبَسُونَ ثِيَابًا خُضْرًا مِّن سُندُسٍ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍ مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرَآئِكِ نِعْمَ ٱلثَّوَابُ وَحَسُنَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا

ulāʾika lahum jannātu ʿadnin tajrī min taḥtihimu l-anhāru yuḥallawna fīhā min asāwira min dhahabin wa-yalbasūna thiyāban khuḍran min sundusin wa-istabraqin muttakiʾīna fīhā ʿalā l-arāʾiki niʿma l-thawābu wa-ḥasunat murtafaqan

For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade: They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on!

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:76

جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ

jannātu ʿadnin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wa-dhālika jazāʾu man tazakkā

Gardens of Eternity, beneath which flow rivers: they will dwell therein for aye: such is the reward of those who purify themselves (from evil).

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:81

وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ عَاصِفَةً تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا وَكُنَّا بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَٰلِمِينَ

wa-li-sulaymāna l-rīḥa ʿāṣifatan tajrī bi-amrihi ilā l-arḍi allatī bāraknā fīhā wa-kunnā bi-kulli shayʾin ʿālimīna

(It was Our power that made) the violent (unruly) wind flow (tamely) for Solomon, to his order, to the land which We had blessed: for We do know all things.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:14

إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ

inna allāha yudkhilu lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru inna allāha yafʿalu mā yurīdu

Verily Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens, beneath which rivers flow: for Allah carries out all that He plans.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:23

إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ

inna allāha yudkhilu lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru yuḥallawna fīhā min asāwira min dhahabin wa-luʾluʾan wa-libāsuhum fīhā ḥarīrun

Allah will admit those who believe and work righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow: they shall be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls; and their garments there will be of silk.

Sura al-Ḥajj 22:65

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلْفُلْكَ تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَيُمْسِكُ ٱلسَّمَآءَ أَن تَقَعَ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِٱلنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ

a-lam tara annā allāha sakhkhara la-kum mā fī l-arḍi wa-l-fulka tajrī fī l-baḥri bi-amrihi wa-yumsiku l-samāʾa an taqaʿa ʿalā l-arḍi illā bi-idhnihi inna allāha bil-nāsi la-raʾūfun raḥīmun

Seest thou not that Allah has made subject to you (men) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the sky (rain) from failing on the earth except by His leave: for Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man.

Sura al-Furqān 25:10

تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِن شَآءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًا مِّن ذَٰلِكَ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَيَجْعَل لَّكَ قُصُورًۢا

tabāraka alladhī in shāʾa jaʿala la-ka khayran min dhālika jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru wa-yajʿal laka quṣūran

Blessed is He who, if that were His will, could give thee better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He could give thee palaces (secure to dwell in).

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:58

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ

wa-lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti la-nubawwiʾannahum mina l-jannati ghurafan tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā niʿma ajru l-ʿāmilīna

But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness - to them shall We give a Home in Heaven,- lofty mansions beneath which flow rivers,- to dwell therein for aye;- an excellent reward for those who do (good)!-

Sura al-Rūm 30:46

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن يُرْسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَٰتٍ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجْرِىَ ٱلْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

wa-min āyātihi an yursila l-rīāḥa mubashshirātin wa-li-yudhīqakum min rraḥmatihi wa-li-tajriya l-fulku bi-amrihi wa-li-tabtaghū min faḍlihi wa-la-ʿallakum tashkurūna

Among His Signs is this, that He sends the Winds, as heralds of Glad Tidings, giving you a taste of His (Grace and) Mercy,- that the ships may sail (majestically) by His Command and that ye may seek of His Bounty: in order that ye may be grateful.

Sura Luqmān 31:29

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَأَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

a-lam tara annā allāha yūliju l-layla fī l-nahāri wa-yūliju l-nahāra fī l-layli wa-sakhkhara l-shamsa wa-l-qamara kullun yajrī ila ajalin musamman wa-anna allāha bi-mā taʿmalūna khabīrun

Seest thou not that Allah merges Night into Day and he merges Day into Night; that He has subjected the sun, and the moon (to his Law), each running its course for a term appointed; and that Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do?

Sura Luqmān 31:31

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱلْفُلْكَ تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ ٱللَّـهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

a-lam tara annā l-fulka tajrī fī l-baḥri bi-niʿmati allāhi li-yuriyakum min āyātihi inna fī dhālika la-āyātin li-kulli ṣabbārin shakūrin

Seest thou not that the ships sail through the ocean by the Grace of Allah?- that He may show you of His Signs? Verily in this are Signs for all who constantly persevere and give thanks.

Sura al-Faṭīr 35:13

يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِن قِطْمِيرٍ

yūliju l-layla fī l-nahāri wa-yūliju l-nahāra fī l-layli wa-sakhkhara l-shamsa wa-l-qamara kullun yajrī li-ajalin musamman dhālikumu allāhu rabbukum lahu l-mulku wa-lladhīna tadʿūna min dūnihi mā yamlikūna min qiṭmīrin

He merges Night into Day, and he merges Day into Night, and he has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law): each one runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah your Lord: to Him belongs all Dominion. And those whom ye invoke besides Him have not the least power.

Sura Yā Sin 36:38

وَٱلشَّمْسُ تَجْرِى لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ

wa-l-shamsu tajrī li-mustaqarrin llahā dhālika taqdīru l-ʿazīzi l-ʿalīmi

And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.

Sura Ṣād 38:36

فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ

fa-sakhkharnā lahu l-rīḥa tajrī bi-amrihi rukhāʾan ḥaythu aṣāba

Then We subjected the wind to his power, to flow gently to his order, Whithersoever he willed,-

Sura al-Zumar 39:5

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ عَلَى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ ٱلنَّهَارَ عَلَى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى أَلَا هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ

khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa bil-ḥaqqi yukawwiru l-layla ʿalā l-nahāri wa-yukawwiru l-nahāra ʿalā l-layli wa-sakhkhara l-shamsa wa-l-qamara kullun yajrī li-ajalin musamman āla huwa l-ʿazīzu l-ghaffāru

He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He makes the Night overlap the Day, and the Day overlap the Night: He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His law): Each one follows a course for a time appointed. Is not He the Exalted in Power - He Who forgives again and again?

Sura al-Zumar 39:20

لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَّبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَعْدَ ٱللَّـهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ

lākini lladhīna ittaqaw rabbahum lahum ghurafun min fawqihā ghurafun mabniyyatun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru waʿda allāhi lā yukhlifu allāhu l-mīʿāda

But it is for those who fear their Lord. That lofty mansions, one above another, have been built: beneath them flow rivers (of delight): (such is) the Promise of Allah: never doth Allah fail in (His) promise.

Sura al-Zukhruf 43:51

وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى قَوْمِهِۦ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِى مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَٰذِهِ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِىٓ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ

wa-nādā firʿawun fī qawmihi qalā yā-qawmi a-laysa lī mulku miṣra wa-hādhihi l-anhāru tajrī min taḥtī a-fa-lā tubṣirūna

And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not the dominion of Egypt belong to me, (witness) these streams flowing underneath my (palace)? What! see ye not then?

Sura al-Jāthiyah 45:12

ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِىَ ٱلْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

allāhu alladhī sakhkhara lakumu l-baḥra li-tajriya l-fulku fīhi bi-amrihi wa-li-tabtaghū min faḍlihi wa-la-ʿallakum tashkurūna

It is Allah Who has subjected the sea to you, that ships may sail through it by His command, that ye may seek of his Bounty, and that ye may be grateful.

Sura Muḥammad 47:12

إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ

inna allāha yudkhilu lladhīna āmanū wa-ʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru wa-lladhīna kafarū yatamattaʿūna wa-yakulūna ka-mā taʾkulu l-anʿāmu wa-l-nāru mathwan lahum

Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode.

Sura al-Fatḥ 48:5

لِّيُدْخِلَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَكَانَ ذَٰلِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا

li-yudkhila l-muʾminīna wa-l-muʾmināti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wa-yukaffira ʿanhum sayyiʾātihim wa-kāna dhālika ʿinda allāhi fawzan ʿaẓīman

That He may admit the men and women who believe, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye, and remove their ills from them;- and that is, in the sight of Allah, the highest achievement (for man),-

Sura al-Fatḥ 48:17

لَّيْسَ عَلَى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلْمَرِيضِ حَرَجٌ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّـهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ يُعَذِّبْهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا

laysa ʿalā l-aʿmā ḥarajun wa-lā ʿalā l-aʿraji ḥarajun wa-lā ʿalā l-marīḍi ḥarajun wa-man yuṭiʿi allāha wa-rasūlahu yudkhilhu jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru wa-man yatawalla yuʿadhdhibhu ʿadhāban alīman

No blame is there on the blind, nor is there blame on the lame, nor on one ill (if he joins not the war): But he that obeys Allah and his Messenger,- (Allah) will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and he who turns back, (Allah) will punish him with a grievous Penalty.

Sura al-Qamar 54:14

تَجْرِى بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَآءً لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ

tajrī bi-aʿyuninā jazāʾan lliman kāna kufira

She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)!

Sura al-Ḥadīd 57:12

يَوْمَ تَرَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ يَسْعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَٰنِهِم بُشْرَىٰكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

yawma tara l-muʾminīna wa-l-muʾmināti yasʿā nūruhum bayna aydīhim wa-biaymānihim bushrakumu l-yawma jannātun tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā dhālika huwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīmu

One Day shalt thou see the believing men and the believing women- how their Light runs forward before them and by their right hands: (their greeting will be): "Good News for you this Day! Gardens beneath which flow rivers! to dwell therein for aye! This is indeed the highest Achievement!"

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:22

لَّا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّـهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِ يُوَآدُّونَ مَنْ حَآدَّ ٱللَّـهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَلَوْ كَانُوٓا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ أَوْ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ أَوْ إِخْوَٰنَهُمْ أَوْ عَشِيرَتَهُمْ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ كَتَبَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلْإِيمَٰنَ وَأَيَّدَهُم بِرُوحٍ مِّنْهُ وَيُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا رَضِىَ ٱللَّـهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ حِزْبُ ٱللَّـهِ أَلَآ إِنَّ حِزْبَ ٱللَّـهِ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

lā tajidu qawman yuʾminūna billāhi wa-l-yawmi l-akhiri yūāddūna man ḥādda allāha wa-rasūlahu wa-law kānū ābāʾahum aw abnāʾahum aw ikhwānahum aw ʿashīratahum ulāʾika kataba fī qulūbihimu l-īmāna wa-ayyadahum birūḥin minhu wa-yudkhiluhum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā raḍīa allāhu ʿanhum wa-raḍū ʿanhu ulāʾika ḥizbu allāhi āla inna ḥizba allāhi humu l-mufliḥūna

Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a spirit from Himself. And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein (for ever). Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Truly it is the Party of Allah that will achieve Felicity.
