Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:143

وَلَمَّا جَآءَ مُوسَىٰ لِمِيقَٰتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِىٓ أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَن تَرَىٰنِى وَلَٰكِنِ ٱنظُرْ إِلَى ٱلْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ ٱسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُۥ فَسَوْفَ تَرَىٰنِى فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُۥ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُۥ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًا فَلَمَّآ أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa-lammā jāa mūsā limīqātinā wa-kallamahu rabbuhu qalā rabbi arinī anẓur ilayka qalā lan taranī wa-lākini inẓur ilā l-jabali fa-ini staqarra makānahu fa-sawfa taranī fa-lammā tajallā rabbuhu lil-jabali jaʿalahu dakkan wa-kharra mūsā ṣaʿiqan fa-lammā afāqa qalā subḥānaka tubtu ilayka wa-anā awwalu l-muʾminīna

When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said: "O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon thee." Allah said: "By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe."

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:187

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّى لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَآ إِلَّا هُوَ ثَقُلَتْ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَا تَأْتِيكُمْ إِلَّا بَغْتَةً يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ كَأَنَّكَ حَفِىٌّ عَنْهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

yasʾalūnaka ʿani l-sāʿati ayyāna mursahā qul innamā ʿilmuhā ʿinda rabbī lā yujallīhā li-waqtihā illā huwa thaqulat fī l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi lā taʾtīkum illā baghtatan yasʾalūnaka ka-annaka ḥafiyyun ʿanhā qul innamā ʿilmuhā ʿinda allāhi wa-lākinna akthara l-nāsi lā yaʿlamūna

They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not."

Sura al-Shams 91:3

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا

wa-l-nahāri idhā jallāhā

By the Day as it shows up (the Sun's) glory;

Sura al-Layl 92:2

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ

wa-l-nahāri idhā tajallā

By the Day as it appears in glory;
