Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:82

وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوهُم مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

wa-mā kāna jawāba qawmihi illā an qālū akhrijūhum min qaryatikum innahum unāsun yataṭahharūna

And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"

Sura Hūd 11:61

وَإِلَىٰ ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَٰلِحًا قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥ هُوَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا فَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ثُمَّ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ إِنَّ رَبِّى قَرِيبٌ مُّجِيبٌ

wa-ilā thamūda akhāhum ṣāliḥan qalā yā-qawmi iʿbudū allāha mā la-kum min ilāhin ghayruhu huwa anshaʾakum mina l-arḍi wa-istaʿmarakum fīhā fa-istaghfirūhu thumma tūbū ilayhi inna rabbī qarībun mujībun

To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. It is He Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him, and turn to Him (in repentance): for my Lord is (always) near, ready to answer."

Sura al-Naml 27:56

فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَخْرِجُوٓا۟ ءَالَ لُوطٍ مِّن قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

fa-mā kāna jawāba qawmihi illā an qālū akhrijū āla lūṭin min qaryatikum innahum unāsun yataṭahharūna

But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:24

فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنجَىٰهُ ٱللَّـهُ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

fa-mā kāna jawāba qawmihi illā an qālū iqtulūhu aw ḥarriqūhu fa-ajāhu allāhu mina l-nāri inna fī dhālika la-āyātin li-qawmin yuʾminūna

So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe.

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:29

أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ ٱلرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ ٱلسَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِى نَادِيكُمُ ٱلْمُنكَرَ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوا۟ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ ٱللَّـهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ

a-innakum la-taʾtūna l-rijāla wa-taqṭaʿūna l-sabīla wa-taʾtūna fī nādīkumu l-munkara fa-mā kāna jawāba qawmihi illā an qālū iʾtinā biʿadhābi allāhi in kunta mina l-ṣādiqīna

"Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway?- and practise wickedness (even) in your councils?" But his people gave no answer but this: they said: "Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth."

Sura al-Ṣaffāt 37:75

وَلَقَدْ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٌ فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ

wa-la-qad nādanā nūḥun fa-laniʿma l-mujībūna

(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer.
