(3:28) | لَّا يَتَّخِذِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ فِى شَىْءٍ إِلَّآ أَن تَتَّقُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ تُقَىٰةً وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ نَفْسَهُۥ وَإِلَى ٱللَّـهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ | lā yattakhidhi l‑muʾminūna l‑kāfirīna awliyāʾa min dūni l‑muʾminīna wa‑man yafʿal dhālika fa‑laysa mina allāhi fī shayʾin illā an tattaqū minhum tuqatan wa‑yuḥadhdhirukumu allāhu nafsahu wa‑ilā allāhi l‑maṣīru | Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers
rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from
Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them.
But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.

(3:30) | يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوٓءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ أَمَدًۢا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ نَفْسَهُۥ وَٱللَّـهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ | yawma tajidu kullu nafsin mā ʿamilat min khayrin muḥḍaran wa‑mā ʿamilat min sūʾin tawaddu law annā baynahā wa‑baynahu amadan baʿīdan wa‑yuḥadhdhirukumu allāhu nafsahu wallāhu raʾūfun bil‑ʿibādi | "On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the
good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a
great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember)
Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him."
Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:30 يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِن سُوٓءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ أَمَدًۢا بَعِيدًا وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ نَفْسَهُۥ وَٱللَّـهُ رَءُوفٌۢ بِٱلْعِبَادِ yawma tajidu kullu nafsin mā ʿamilat min khayrin muḥḍaran wa-mā ʿamilat min sūʾin tawaddu law annā baynahā wa-baynahu amadan baʿīdan wa-yuḥadhdhirukumu allāhu nafsahu wallāhu raʾūfun bil-ʿibādi "On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him." |
(5:49) | وَأَنِ ٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّـهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَٱحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنۢ بَعْضِ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّـهُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّـهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَفَٰسِقُونَ | wa‑ani aḥkum baynahum bimā anzala allāhu wa‑lā tattabiʿ ahwāʾahum wa‑aḥdharhum an yaftinūka ʿan baʿḍi mā anzala allāhu ilayka fa‑in tawallaw fa‑iʿlam annamā yurīdu allāhu an yuṣībahum bi‑baʿḍi dhunūbihim wa‑inna kathīran mina l‑nāsi lafāsiqūna | And this (He commands): Judge thou between them by what Allah
hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest
they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to
thee. And if they turn away, be assured that for some of their crime it is
Allah's purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious.
Sura al-Māʾidah 5:49 وَأَنِ ٱحْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّـهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَٱحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنۢ بَعْضِ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّـهُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَٱعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّـهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَفَٰسِقُونَ wa-ani aḥkum baynahum bimā anzala allāhu wa-lā tattabiʿ ahwāʾahum wa-aḥdharhum an yaftinūka ʿan baʿḍi mā anzala allāhu ilayka fa-in tawallaw fa-iʿlam annamā yurīdu allāhu an yuṣībahum bi-baʿḍi dhunūbihim wa-inna kathīran mina l-nāsi lafāsiqūna And this (He commands): Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. (9:64) | يَحْذَرُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُورَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ قُلِ ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا تَحْذَرُونَ | yaḥdharu l‑munāfiqūna an tunazzala ʿalayhim sūratun tunabbiuhum bi‑mā fī qulūbihim quli istahziʾū inna allāha mukhrijun mā taḥdharūna | The Hypocrites are afraid lest a Sura should be sent down
about them, showing them what is (really passing) in their hearts. Say:
"Mock ye! But verily Allah will bring to light all that ye fear (should be
revealed).
Sura al-Tawbah 9:64 يَحْذَرُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُورَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ قُلِ ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا تَحْذَرُونَ yaḥdharu l-munāfiqūna an tunazzala ʿalayhim sūratun tunabbiuhum bi-mā fī qulūbihim quli istahziʾū inna allāha mukhrijun mā taḥdharūna The Hypocrites are afraid lest a Sura should be sent down about them, showing them what is (really passing) in their hearts. Say: "Mock ye! But verily Allah will bring to light all that ye fear (should be revealed). |
(24:63) | لَّا تَجْعَلُوا۟ دُعَآءَ ٱلرَّسُولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُعَآءِ بَعْضِكُم بَعْضًا قَدْ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَسَلَّلُونَ مِنكُمْ لِوَاذًا فَلْيَحْذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِۦٓ أَن تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | lā tajʿalū duʿāʾa l‑rasūli baynakum ka‑duʿāʾi baʿḍikum baʿḍan qad yaʿlamu allāhu lladhīna yatasallalūna minkum liwādhan fa‑l‑yaḥdhari lladhīna yukhālifūna ʿan amrihi an tuṣībahum fitnatun aw yuṣībahum ʿadhābun alīmun | Deem not the summons of the Messenger among yourselves like the
summons of one of you to another: Allah doth know those of you who slip away
under shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the
Messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous penalty be
inflicted on them.
Sura al-Nūr 24:63 لَّا تَجْعَلُوا۟ دُعَآءَ ٱلرَّسُولِ بَيْنَكُمْ كَدُعَآءِ بَعْضِكُم بَعْضًا قَدْ يَعْلَمُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَسَلَّلُونَ مِنكُمْ لِوَاذًا فَلْيَحْذَرِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُخَالِفُونَ عَنْ أَمْرِهِۦٓ أَن تُصِيبَهُمْ فِتْنَةٌ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ lā tajʿalū duʿāʾa l-rasūli baynakum ka-duʿāʾi baʿḍikum baʿḍan qad yaʿlamu allāhu lladhīna yatasallalūna minkum liwādhan fa-l-yaḥdhari lladhīna yukhālifūna ʿan amrihi an tuṣībahum fitnatun aw yuṣībahum ʿadhābun alīmun Deem not the summons of the Messenger among yourselves like the summons of one of you to another: Allah doth know those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse: then let those beware who withstand the Messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous penalty be inflicted on them. |
(39:9) | أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَآئِمًا يَحْذَرُ ٱلْأَخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوا۟ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِۦ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ | a‑man huwa qānitun ānāʾa l‑layli sājidan wa‑qāʾiman yaḥdharu l‑akhirata wa‑yarjū raḥmata rabbihi qul hal yastawī lladhīna yaʿlamūna wa‑lladhīna lā yaʿlamūna innamā yatadhakkaru ūlū l‑albābi | Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night
prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the
Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who
does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?
It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.
Sura al-Zumar 39:9 أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَآئِمًا يَحْذَرُ ٱلْأَخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوا۟ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِۦ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ a-man huwa qānitun ānāʾa l-layli sājidan wa-qāʾiman yaḥdharu l-akhirata wa-yarjū raḥmata rabbihi qul hal yastawī lladhīna yaʿlamūna wa-lladhīna lā yaʿlamūna innamā yatadhakkaru ūlū l-albābi Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who does not)? (63:4) | وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن يَقُولُوا۟ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ | wa‑idhā raʾaytahum tuʿjibuka ajsāmuhum wa‑in yaqūlū tasmaʿ liqawlihim ka‑annahum khushubun musannadatun yaḥsabūna kulla ṣayḥatin ʿalayhim humu l‑ʿadūwu faḥdharhum qātalahumu allāhu annā yuʾfakūna | When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and
when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as
hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They
think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of
them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the
Truth)!
Sura al-Munāfiqūn 63:4 وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ وَإِن يَقُولُوا۟ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ wa-idhā raʾaytahum tuʿjibuka ajsāmuhum wa-in yaqūlū tasmaʿ liqawlihim ka-annahum khushubun musannadatun yaḥsabūna kulla ṣayḥatin ʿalayhim humu l-ʿadūwu faḥdharhum qātalahumu allāhu annā yuʾfakūna When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words.
