Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:139

وَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

wa-lā tahinū wa-lā taḥzanū wa-antumu l-aʿlawna in kuntum muʾminīna

So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:153

إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُۥنَ عَلَىٰٓ أَحَدٍ وَٱلرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِىٓ أُخْرَىٰكُمْ فَأَثَٰبَكُمْ غَمًّۢا بِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَآ أَصَٰبَكُمْ وَٱللَّـهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

idh tuṣʿidūna wa-lā talwuna ʿala aḥadin wal-rasūlu yadʿūkum fī ukhrakum faathābakum ghamman bi-ghammin llikaylā taḥzanū ʿalā mā fātakum wa-lā mā aṣābakum wallāhu khabīrun bi-mā taʿmalūna

Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Messenger in your rear was calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:49

أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقْسَمْتُمْ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ

a-hāʾulāʾi lladhīna aqsamtum lā yanāluhumu allāhu bi-raḥmaṭin idkhulū l-jannata lā khawfun ʿalaykum wa-lā antum taḥzanūna

"Behold! are these not the men whom you swore that Allah with His Mercy would never bless? Enter ye the Garden: no fear shall be on you, nor shall ye grieve."

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:88

لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

lā tamuddanna ʿaynayka ilā mā mattaʿnā bihi azwājan minhum wa-lā taḥzan ʿalayhim wa-ikhfiḍ janāḥaka lil-muʾminīna

Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers.

Sura Maryam 19:24

فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحْتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحْزَنِى قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّا

fanādahā min taḥtihā allā taḥzanī qad jaʿala rabbuki taḥtaki sariyyan

But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;

Sura al-Qaṣaṣ 28:7

وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِى وَلَا تَحْزَنِىٓ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa-awḥaynā ila ummi mūsā an arḍiʿīhi fa-idhā khifti ʿalayhi fa-alqīhi fī l-yammi wa-lā takhāfī wa-lā taḥzanī innā rāddūhu ilayki wa-jāʿilūhu mina l-mursalīna

So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers."

Sura al-ʿAnkabūt 29:33

وَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِىٓءَ بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا ٱمْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ

wa-lammā an jāʾat rusulunā lūṭan sīʾa bihim wa-ḍāqa bihim dharʿan wa-qālū lā takhaf wa-lā taḥzan innā munajjūka wa-ahlaka illā imraʾataka kānat mina l-ghābirīna

And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind.

Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:30

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّـهُ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟ تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا۟ وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ وَأَبْشِرُوا۟ بِٱلْجَنَّةِ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

inna lladhīna qālū rabbunā allāhu thumma istaqāmū tatanazzalu ʿalayhimu l-malāʾikatu allā takhāfū wa-lā taḥzanū wa-abshirū bil-jannati allatī kuntum tūʿadūna

In the case of those who say, "Our Lord is Allah", and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): "Fear ye not!" (they suggest), "Nor grieve! but receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), the which ye were promised!

Sura al-Zukhruf 43:68

يَٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ

yā-ʿibādi lā khawfun ʿalaykumu l-yawma wa-lā antum taḥzanūna

My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,-
