Sura al-Baqara 2:203

وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ فِىٓ أَيَّامٍ مَّعْدُودَٰتٍ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَآ إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ لِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

wa-idhkurū allāha fī ayyāmin maʿdūdātin fa-man taʿajjala fī yawmayni fa-lā ithma ʿalayhi wa-man taʾakhkhara fa-lā ithma ʿalayhi limani ittaqā wa-ittaqū allāha wa-iʿlamū annakum ilayhi tuḥsharūna

Celebrate the praises of Allah during the Appointed Days. But if any one hastens to leave in two days, there is no blame on him, and if any one stays on, there is no blame on him, if his aim is to do right. Then fear Allah, and know that ye will surely be gathered unto Him.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:12

قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ

qul li-lladhīna kafarū sa-tughlabūna wa-tuḥsharūna ilā jahannama wa-biʾsa l-mihādu

Say to those who reject Faith: "Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to Hell,-an evil bed indeed (to lie on)!

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:158

وَلَئِن مُّتُّمْ أَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَإِلَى ٱللَّـهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

wa-laʾin muttum aw qutiltum la-ilā allāhi tuḥsharūna

And if ye die, or are slain, Lo! it is unto Allah that ye are brought together.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:172

لَّن يَسْتَنكِفَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ أَن يَكُونَ عَبْدًا لِلَّـهِ وَلَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ وَمَن يَسْتَنكِفْ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِۦ وَيَسْتَكْبِرْ فَسَيَحْشُرُهُمْ إِلَيْهِ جَمِيعًا

lan yastankifa l-masīḥu an yakūna ʿabdan lillāhi wa-lā l-malāʾikatu l-muqarrabūna wa-man yastankif ʿan ʿibādatihi wa-yastakbir fa-sa-yaḥshuruhum ilayhi jamīʿan

Christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah): those who disdain His worship and are arrogant,-He will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer).

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:96

أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُۥ مَتَٰعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ ٱلْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

uḥilla la-kum ṣaydu l-baḥri wa-ṭaʿāmuhu matāʿan la-kum wa-lil-sayyārati wa-ḥurrima ʿalaykum ṣaydu l-barri mā dumtum ḥuruman wattaqū allāha alladhī ilayhi tuḥsharūna

Lawful to you is the pursuit of water-game and its use for food,- for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel; but forbidden is the pursuit of land-game;- as long as ye are in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. And fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be gathered back.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:22

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ

wa-yawma naḥshuruhum jamīʿan thumma naqūlu li-lladhīna ashrakū ayna shurakāʾukumu lladhīna kuntum tazʿumūna

One day shall We gather them all together: We shall say to those who ascribed partners (to Us): "Where are the partners whom ye (invented and) talked about?"

Sura al-Anʿām 6:38

وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَٰٓئِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّآ أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِن شَىْءٍ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ

wa-mā min dābbatin fī l-arḍi wa-lā ṭāʾirin yaṭīru bi-janāḥayhi illā umamun amthālukum mā farraṭnā fī l-kitābi min shayʾin thumma ilā rabbihim yuḥsharūna

There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:51

وَأَنذِرْ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَن يُحْشَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ لَيْسَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ وَلِىٌّ وَلَا شَفِيعٌ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

wa-andhir bihi lladhīna yakhāfūna an yuḥsharū ilā rabbihim laysa lahum min dūnihi waliyyun wa-lā shafīʿun la-ʿallahum yattaqūna

Give this warning to those in whose (hearts) is the fear that they will be brought (to judgment) before their Lord: except for Him they will have no protector nor intercessor: that they may guard (against evil).

Sura al-Anʿām 6:72

وَأَنْ أَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

wa-an aqīmū l-ṣalāta wa-ittaqūhu wa-huwa alladhī ilayhi tuḥsharūna

"To establish regular prayers and to fear Allah: for it is to Him that we shall be gathered together."

Sura al-Anʿām 6:111

وَلَوْ أَنَّنَا نَزَّلْنَآ إِلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ وَكَلَّمَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَحَشَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ قُبُلًا مَّا كَانُوا۟ لِيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَجْهَلُونَ

wa-law annanā nazzalnā ilayhimu l-malāikata wa-kallamahumu l-mawtā wa-ḥasharnā ʿalayhim kulla shayʾin qubulan mā kānū li-yuʾminū illā an yashāʾa allāhu wa-lākinna aktharahum yajhalūna

Even if We did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and We gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah's plan. But most of them ignore (the truth).

Sura al-Anʿām 6:128

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يَٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ قَدِ ٱسْتَكْثَرْتُم مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُم مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ رَبَّنَا ٱسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَآ أَجَلَنَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا قَالَ ٱلنَّارُ مَثْوَىٰكُمْ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّـهُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

wa-yawma yaḥshuruhum jamīʿan yā-maʿshara l-jinni qadi istakthartum mina l-insi wa-qāla awlīāuhum mina l-insi rabbanā istamtaʿa baʿḍunā bi-baʿḍin wa-balaghnā ajalanā alladhī ajjalta la-nā qalā l-nāru mathwakum khālidīna fīhā illā mā shāʾa allāhu inna rabbaka ḥakīmun ʿalīmun

One day will He gather them all together, (and say): "O ye assembly of Jinns! Much (toll) did ye take of men." Their friends amongst men will say: "Our Lord! we made profit from each other: but (alas!) we reached our term - which thou didst appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah willeth." for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.

Sura al-Anfāl 8:24

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِلَّـهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَأَنَّهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū istajībū lillāhi wa-lil-rasūli idhā daʿākum li-mā yuḥyīkum wa-iʿlamū annā allāha yaḥūlu bayna l-mari wa-qalbihi wa-annahu ilayhi tuḥsharūna

O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.

Sura al-Anfāl 8:36

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّـهِ فَسَيُنفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ

inna lladhīna kafarū yunfiqūna amwālahum li-yaṣuddū ʿan sabīli allāhi fa-sa-yunfiqūnahā thumma takūnu ʿalayhim ḥasratan thumma yughlabūna wa-lladhīna kafarū ilā jahannama yuḥsharūna

The Unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (man) from the path of Allah, and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the Unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell;-

Sura Yūnus 10:28

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ مَكَانَكُمْ أَنتُمْ وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَقَالَ شُرَكَآؤُهُم مَّا كُنتُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُونَ

wa-yawma naḥshuruhum jamīʿan thumma naqūlu li-lladhīna ashrakū makānakum antum wa-shurakāʾukum fa-zayyalna baynahum wa-qāla shurakāʾuhum mā kuntum iyyānā taʿbudūna

One day shall We gather them all together. Then shall We say to those who joined gods (with Us): "To your place! ye and those ye joined as 'partners' We shall separate them, and their "Partners" shall say: "It was not us that ye worshipped!

Sura Yūnus 10:45

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَدْ خَسِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَآءِ ٱللَّـهِ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُهْتَدِينَ

wa-yawma yaḥshuruhum ka-an lam yalbathū illā sāʿatan mina l-nahāri yataʿārafūna baynahum qad khasira lladhīna kadhdhabū bi-liqāʾi allāhi wa-mā kānū muhtadīna

One day He will gather them together: (It will be) as if they had tarried but an hour of a day: they will recognise each other: assuredly those will be lost who denied the meeting with Allah and refused to receive true guidance.

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:25

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

wa-inna rabbaka huwa yaḥshuruhum innahu ḥakīmun ʿalīmun

Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge.

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:97

وَمَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّـهُ فَهُوَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِهِۦ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ عُمْيًا وَبُكْمًا وَصُمًّا مَّأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ زِدْنَٰهُمْ سَعِيرًا

wa-man yahdi allāhu fa-huwa l-muhtadi wa-man yuḍlil fa-lan tajida lahum awliyāʾa min dūnihi wa-naḥshuruhum yawma l-qiyāmati ʿalā wujūhihim ʿumyan wa-bukman wa-ṣumman maʾwāhum jahannamu kullamā khabat zidnāhum saʿīran

It is he whom Allah guides, that is on true Guidance; but he whom He leaves astray - for such wilt thou find no protector besides Him. On the Day of Judgment We shall gather, them together, prone on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf: their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire.

Sura al-Kahf 18:47

وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ ٱلْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى ٱلْأَرْضَ بَارِزَةً وَحَشَرْنَٰهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا

wa-yawma nusayyiru l-jibāla wa-tara l-arḍa bārizatan wa-ḥasharnāhum fa-lam nughādir minhum aḥadan

One Day We shall remove the mountains, and thou wilt see the earth as a level stretch, and We shall gather them, all together, nor shall We leave out any one of them.

Sura Maryam 19:68

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّا

fa-wa-rabbika la-naḥshurannahum wa-l-shayāṭīna thumma la-nuḥḍirannahum ḥawla jahannama jithiyyan

So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell;

Sura Maryam 19:85

يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدًا

yawma naḥshuru l-muttaqīna ilā l-raḥmāni wafdan

The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours,

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:59

قَالَ مَوْعِدُكُمْ يَوْمُ ٱلزِّينَةِ وَأَن يُحْشَرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحًى

qalā mawʿidukum yawmu l-zīnati wa-an yuḥshara l-nāsu ḍuḥan

Moses said: "Your tryst is the Day of the Festival, and let the people be assembled when the sun is well up."

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:102

يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ وَنَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ زُرْقًا

yawma yunfakhu fī l-ṣūri wa-naḥshuru l-mujrimīna yawmaʾidhin zurqan

The Day when the Trumpet will be sounded: that Day, We shall gather the sinful, blear-eyed (with terror).

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:124

وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ أَعْمَىٰ

wa-man aʿraḍa ʿan dhikrī fa-inna lahu maʿīshatan ḍankan wa-naḥshuruhu yawma l-qiyāmati aʿma

"But whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment."

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:125

قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرْتَنِىٓ أَعْمَىٰ وَقَدْ كُنتُ بَصِيرًا

qalā rabbi lima ḥashartanī aʿma wa-qad kuntu baṣīran

He will say: "O my Lord! why hast Thou raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)?"

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:79

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

wa-huwa alladhī dharaʾakum fī l-arḍi wa-ilayhi tuḥsharūna

And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back.

Sura al-Furqān 25:17

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّـهِ فَيَقُولُ ءَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِى هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا۟ ٱلسَّبِيلَ

wa-yawma yaḥshuruhum wa-mā yaʿbudūna min dūni allāhi fa-yaqūlu aʾantum aḍlaltum ʿibādī hāʾulāʾi am hum ḍallū l-sabīla

The day He will gather them together as well as those whom they worship besides Allah, He will ask: "Was it ye who let these My servants astray, or did they stray from the Path themselves?"

Sura al-Furqān 25:34

ٱلَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

lladhīna yuḥsharūna ʿalā wujūhihim ilā jahannama ulāʾika sharrun makānan wa-aḍallu sabīlan

Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces,- they will be in an evil plight, and, as to Path, most astray.

Sura al-Naml 27:17

وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمَٰنَ جُنُودُهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ وَٱلطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

wa-ḥushira li-sulaymāna junūduhu mina l-jinni wa-l-insi wa-l-ṭayri fa-hum yūzaʿūna

And before Solomon were marshalled his hosts,- of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks.

Sura al-Naml 27:83

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ فَوْجًا مِّمَّن يُكَذِّبُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

wa-yawma naḥshuru min kulli ummatin fawjan mimman yukadhdhibu bi-āyātinā fa-hum yūzaʿūna

One day We shall gather together from every people a troop of those who reject our Signs, and they shall be kept in ranks,-

Sura Sabaʾ 34:40

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِيَّاكُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ

wa-yawma yaḥshuruhum jamīʿan thumma yaqūlu lil-malāʾikati a-hāʾulāʾi iyyakum kānū yaʿbudūna

One Day He will gather them all together, and say to the angels, "Was it you that these men used to worship?"

Sura al-Ṣaffāt 37:22

ٱحْشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ

iḥshurū lladhīna ẓalamū wa-azwājahum wa-mā kānū yaʿbudūna

"Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped-

Sura Fuṣṣilat 41:19

وَيَوْمَ يُحْشَرُ أَعْدَآءُ ٱللَّـهِ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ

wa-yawma yuḥsharu aʿdāʾu allāhi ilā l-nāri fa-hum yūzaʿūna

On the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered together to the Fire, they will be marched in ranks.

Sura al-Aḥqāf 46:6

وَإِذَا حُشِرَ ٱلنَّاسُ كَانُوا۟ لَهُمْ أَعْدَآءً وَكَانُوا۟ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَٰفِرِينَ

wa-idhā ḥushira l-nāsu kānū lahum aʿdaʾan wa-kānū bi-ʿibādatihim kāfirīna

And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and reject their worship (altogether)!

Sura al-Mujādilah 58:9

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا تَنَٰجَيْتُمْ فَلَا تَتَنَٰجَوْا۟ بِٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ ٱلرَّسُولِ وَتَنَٰجَوْا۟ بِٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ ٱلَّذِىٓ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū idhā tanājaytum fa-lā tatanājaw bi-l-ithmi wa-l-ʿudwāni wa-maʿṣīati l-rasūli wa-tanājaw bil-birri wa-l-taqwa wa-ittaqū allāha alladhī ilayhi tuḥsharūna

O ye who believe! When ye hold secret counsel, do it not for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Prophet; but do it for righteousness and self-restraint; and fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be brought back.

Sura al-Mulk 67:24

قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

qul huwa alladhī dharaʾakum fī l-arḍi wa-ilayhi tuḥsharūna

Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together."

Sura al-Nāziʿāt 79:23

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ

fa-ḥashara fa-nādā

Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation,

Sura al-Takwīr 81:5

وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ

wa-idhā l-wuḥūshu ḥushirat

When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations);
