أَمْ  كُنتُمْ  شُهَدَآءَ  إِذْ  حَضَرَ  يَعْقُوبَ  ٱلْمَوْتُ  إِذْ  قَالَ  لِبَنِيهِ  مَا  تَعْبُدُونَ  مِنۢ  بَعْدِى  قَالُوا۟  نَعْبُدُ  إِلَٰهَكَ  وَإِلَٰهَ  ءَابَآئِكَ  إِبْرَٰهِـۧمَ  وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ  وَإِسْحَٰقَ  إِلَٰهًا  وَٰحِدًا  وَنَحْنُ  لَهُۥ  مُسْلِمُونَ am kuntum shuhadāʾa idh ḥaḍara yaʿqūba l‑mawtu idh qalā li‑banīhi taʿbudūna min baʿdī qālū naʿbudu ilāhaka wa‑ilāha ābāʾika ibrāhīma wa‑ismāʿīla wa‑isḥāqa ilāhan wāḥidan wa‑naḥnu lahu muslimūna
Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: "What will ye worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship Thy god and the god of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma'il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah: To Him we bow (in Islam)."
(2:180)

كُتِبَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  إِذَا  حَضَرَ  أَحَدَكُمُ  ٱلْمَوْتُ  إِن  تَرَكَ  خَيْرًا  ٱلْوَصِيَّةُ  لِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ  وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ  بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ  حَقًّا  عَلَى  ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ kutiba ʿalaykum idhā ḥaḍara aḥadakumu l‑mawtu in taraka khayran l‑waṣīyatu lil‑wālidayni wa‑l‑aqrabīna bil‑maʿrūfi ḥaqqan ʿalā l‑muttaqīna
It is prescribed, when death approaches any of you, if he leave any goods that he make a bequest to parents and next of kin, according to reasonable usage; this is due from the Allah-fearing.

Surah 4 al-Nisāʾ (The Women)
(4:8)

(4:18)

وَلَيْسَتِ  ٱلتَّوْبَةُ  لِلَّذِينَ  يَعْمَلُونَ  ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ  حَتَّىٰٓ  إِذَا  حَضَرَ  أَحَدَهُمُ  ٱلْمَوْتُ  قَالَ  إِنِّى  تُبْتُ  ٱلْـَٰٔنَ  وَلَا  ٱلَّذِينَ  يَمُوتُونَ  وَهُمْ  كُفَّارٌ  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  أَعْتَدْنَا  لَهُمْ  عَذَابًا  أَلِيمًا wa‑laysati l‑tawbatu li‑lladhīna yaʿmalūna l‑sayyiʾāti ḥatta idhā ḥaḍara aḥadahumu l‑mawtu qalā innī tubtu l‑ana wa‑lā lladhīna yamūtūna wa‑hum kuffārun ulāʾika aʿtadnā lahum ʿadhāban alīman
Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous.
(4:128)

وَإِنِ  ٱمْرَأَةٌ  خَافَتْ  مِنۢ  بَعْلِهَا  نُشُوزًا  أَوْ  إِعْرَاضًا  فَلَا  جُنَاحَ  عَلَيْهِمَآ  أَن  يُصْلِحَا  بَيْنَهُمَا  صُلْحًا  وَٱلصُّلْحُ  خَيْرٌ  وَأُحْضِرَتِ  ٱلْأَنفُسُ  ٱلشُّحَّ  وَإِن  تُحْسِنُوا۟  وَتَتَّقُوا۟  فَإِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  كَانَ  بِمَا  تَعْمَلُونَ  خَبِيرًا wa‑ini imraʾatun khāfat min baʿlihā nushūzan aw iʿrāḍan fa‑lā junāḥa ʿalayhimā an yuṣliḥā baynahumā ṣulḥan wal‑ṣulḥu khayrun wa‑uḥḍirati l‑anfusu l‑sḥuḥḥa wa‑in tuḥsinū wa‑tattaqū fa‑inna allāha kāna bi‑mā taʿmalūna khabīran
If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Surah 5 al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread)

O ye who believe! When death approaches any of you, (take) witnesses among yourselves when making bequests,- two just men of your own (brotherhood) or others from outside if ye are journeying through the earth, and the chance of death befalls you (thus). If ye doubt (their truth), detain them both after prayer, and let them both swear by Allah: "We wish not in this for any worldly gain, even though the (beneficiary) be our near relation: we shall hide not the evidence before Allah: if we do, then behold! the sin be upon us!"

Surah 81 al-Takwīr (The Cessation)
(81:14)

عَلِمَتْ  نَفْسٌ  مَّآ  أَحْضَرَتْ ʿalimat nafsun aḥḍarat
(Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward.
