Surah 2 al-Baqara (The Cow)
RefArabic    TransliterationTranslation
(2:74)

Thenceforth were your hearts hardened: They became like a rock and even worse in hardness. For among rocks there are some from which rivers gush forth; others there are which when split asunder send forth water; and others which sink for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.
(2:149)

From whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; that is indeed the truth from the Lord. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.
(2:150)

So from whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; and wheresoever ye are, Turn your face thither: that there be no ground of dispute against you among the people, except those of them that are bent on wickedness; so fear them not, but fear Me; and that I may complete My favours on you, and ye May (consent to) be guided;
(2:240)

وَٱلَّذِينَ  يُتَوَفَّوْنَ  مِنكُمْ  وَيَذَرُونَ  أَزْوَٰجًا  وَصِيَّةً  لِّأَزْوَٰجِهِم  مَّتَٰعًا  إِلَى  ٱلْحَوْلِ  غَيْرَ  إِخْرَاجٍ  فَإِنْ  خَرَجْنَ  فَلَا  جُنَاحَ  عَلَيْكُمْ  فِى  مَا  فَعَلْنَ  فِىٓ  أَنفُسِهِنَّ  مِن  مَّعْرُوفٍ  وَٱللَّـهُ  عَزِيزٌ  حَكِيمٌ wa‑lladhīna yutawaffawna minkum wa‑yadharūna azwājan waṣīyatan li‑azwājihim matāʿan ilā l‑ḥawli ghayra ikhrājin fa‑in kharajna fa‑lā junāḥa ʿalaykum faʿalna anfusihinna min maʿrūfin wallāhu ʿazīzun ḥakīmun
Those of you who die and leave widows should bequeath for their widows a year's maintenance and residence; but if they leave (The residence), there is no blame on you for what they do with themselves, provided it is reasonable. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.
(2:243)

أَلَمْ  تَرَ  إِلَى  ٱلَّذِينَ  خَرَجُوا۟  مِن  دِيَٰرِهِمْ  وَهُمْ  أُلُوفٌ  حَذَرَ  ٱلْمَوْتِ  فَقَالَ  لَهُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  مُوتُوا۟  ثُمَّ  أَحْيَٰهُمْ  إِنَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  لَذُو  فَضْلٍ  عَلَى  ٱلنَّاسِ  وَلَٰكِنَّ  أَكْثَرَ  ٱلنَّاسِ  لَا  يَشْكُرُونَ a‑lam tara ilā lladhīna kharajū min diyārihim wa‑hum ulūfun ḥadhara l‑mawti fa‑qāla lahumu allāhu mūtū thumma aḥyāhum inna allāha la‑dhū faḍlin ʿalā l‑nāsi wa‑lākinna akthara l‑nāsi yashkurūna
Didst thou not Turn by vision to those who abandoned their homes, though they were thousands (In number), for fear of death? Allah said to them: "Die": Then He restored them to life. For Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but Most of them are ungrateful.

Surah 4 al-Nisāʾ (The Women)
(4:66)

If We had ordered them to sacrifice their lives or to leave their homes, very few of them would have done it: But if they had done what they were (actually) told, it would have been best for them, and would have gone farthest to strengthen their (faith);
(4:100)

He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah, finds in the earth Many a refuge, wide and spacious: Should he die as a refugee from home for Allah and His Messenger, His reward becomes due and sure with Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

Surah 5 al-Māʾidah (The Table Spread)

قَالُوا۟  يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ  إِنَّ  فِيهَا  قَوْمًا  جَبَّارِينَ  وَإِنَّا  لَن  نَّدْخُلَهَا  حَتَّىٰ  يَخْرُجُوا۟  مِنْهَا  فَإِن  يَخْرُجُوا۟  مِنْهَا  فَإِنَّا  دَٰخِلُونَ qālū yā‑mūsā inna fīhā qawman jabbārīna wa‑innā lan nadkhulahā ḥattā yakhrujū minhā fa‑in yakhrujū minhā fa‑innā dākhilūna
They said: "O Moses! In this land are a people of exceeding strength: Never shall we enter it until they leave it: if (once) they leave, then shall we enter."
(5:37)

يُرِيدُونَ  أَن  يَخْرُجُوا۟  مِنَ  ٱلنَّارِ  وَمَا  هُم  بِخَٰرِجِينَ  مِنْهَا  وَلَهُمْ  عَذَابٌ  مُّقِيمٌ yurīdūna an yakhrujū mina l‑nāri wa‑mā hum bi‑khārijīna minhā wa‑lahum ʿadhābun muqīmun
Their wish will be to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom: their penalty will be one that endures.
(5:61)

وَإِذَا  جَآءُوكُمْ  قَالُوٓا۟  ءَامَنَّا  وَقَد  دَّخَلُوا۟  بِٱلْكُفْرِ  وَهُمْ  قَدْ  خَرَجُوا۟  بِهِۦ  وَٱللَّـهُ  أَعْلَمُ  بِمَا  كَانُوا۟  يَكْتُمُونَ wa‑idhā jāʾūkum qālū āmannā waqad dakhalū bil‑kufri wa‑hum qad kharajū bihi wallāhu aʿlamu bi‑mā kānū yaktumūna
When they come to thee, they say: "We believe": but in fact they enter with a mind against Faith, and they go out with the same but Allah knoweth fully all that they hide.

Surah 7 al-Aʿrāf (The Heights)
(7:13)

قَالَ  فَٱهْبِطْ  مِنْهَا  فَمَا  يَكُونُ  لَكَ  أَن  تَتَكَبَّرَ  فِيهَا  فَٱخْرُجْ  إِنَّكَ  مِنَ  ٱلصَّٰغِرِينَ qalā fa‑ihbiṭ minhā fa‑mā yakūnu la‑ka an tatakabbara fīhā fa‑ikhruj innaka mina l‑ṣāghirīna
(Allah) said: "Get thee down from this: it is not for thee to be arrogant here: get out, for thou art of the meanest (of creatures)."
(7:18)

(Allah) said: "Get out from this, disgraced and expelled. If any of them follow thee,- Hell will I fill with you all.
(7:58)

From the land that is clean and good, by the will of its Cherisher, springs up produce, (rich) after its kind: but from the land that is bad, springs up nothing but that which is niggardly: thus do we explain the signs by various (symbols) to those who are grateful.

Surah 8 al-Anfāl (The Spoils of War)
(8:47)

وَلَا  تَكُونُوا۟  كَٱلَّذِينَ  خَرَجُوا۟  مِن  دِيَٰرِهِم  بَطَرًا  وَرِئَآءَ  ٱلنَّاسِ  وَيَصُدُّونَ  عَن  سَبِيلِ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَٱللَّـهُ  بِمَا  يَعْمَلُونَ  مُحِيطٌ wa‑lā takūnū kalladhīna kharajū min diyārihim baṭaran wa‑riʾāʾa l‑nāsi wa‑yaṣuddūna ʿan sabīli allāhi wallāhu bi‑mā yaʿmalūna muḥīṭun
And be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of Allah: For Allah compasseth round about all that they do.

Surah 9 al-Tawbah (Repentance)
(9:42)

If there had been immediate gain (in sight), and the journey easy, they would (all) without doubt have followed thee, but the distance was long, (and weighed) on them. They would indeed swear by Allah, "If we only could, we should certainly have come out with you": They would destroy their own souls; for Allah doth know that they are certainly lying.
(9:47)

If they had come out with you, they would not have added to your (strength) but only (made for) disorder, hurrying to and fro in your midst and sowing sedition among you, and there would have been some among you who would have listened to them. But Allah knoweth well those who do wrong.
(9:83)

فَإِن  رَّجَعَكَ  ٱللَّـهُ  إِلَىٰ  طَآئِفَةٍ  مِّنْهُمْ  فَٱسْتَـْٔذَنُوكَ  لِلْخُرُوجِ  فَقُل  لَّن  تَخْرُجُوا۟  مَعِىَ  أَبَدًا  وَلَن  تُقَٰتِلُوا۟  مَعِىَ  عَدُوًّا  إِنَّكُمْ  رَضِيتُم  بِٱلْقُعُودِ  أَوَّلَ  مَرَّةٍ  فَٱقْعُدُوا۟  مَعَ  ٱلْخَٰلِفِينَ fa‑in rrajaʿaka allāhu ilā ṭāʾifatin minhum fa‑istadhanūka lil‑khurūji faqul lan takhrujū maʿiya abadan wa‑lan tuqātilū maʿiya ʿadūwan innakum raḍītum bil‑quʿūdi awwala marratin fa‑iqʿudū maʿa l‑khālifīna
If, then, Allah bring thee back to any of them, and they ask thy permission to come out (with thee), say: "Never shall ye come out with me, nor fight an enemy with me: for ye preferred to sit inactive on the first occasion: Then sit ye (now) with those who lag behind."

Surah 12 Yūsuf (Joseph)
(12:31)

فَلَمَّا  سَمِعَتْ  بِمَكْرِهِنَّ  أَرْسَلَتْ  إِلَيْهِنَّ  وَأَعْتَدَتْ  لَهُنَّ  مُتَّكَـًٔا  وَءَاتَتْ  كُلَّ  وَٰحِدَةٍ  مِّنْهُنَّ  سِكِّينًا  وَقَالَتِ  ٱخْرُجْ  عَلَيْهِنَّ  فَلَمَّا  رَأَيْنَهُۥٓ  أَكْبَرْنَهُۥ  وَقَطَّعْنَ  أَيْدِيَهُنَّ  وَقُلْنَ  حَٰشَ  لِلَّـهِ  مَا  هَٰذَا  بَشَرًا  إِنْ  هَٰذَآ  إِلَّا  مَلَكٌ  كَرِيمٌ fa‑lammā samiʿat bimakrihinna arsalat ilayhinna wa‑aʿtadat la‑hunna muttakaʾan wa‑ātat kulla wāḥidatin minhunna sikkīnan wa‑qālati ikhruj ʿalayhinna fa‑lammā raaynahu akbarnahu wa‑qaṭṭaʿna aydiyahunna wa‑qulna ḥāsha lillāhi hādhā basharan in hādhā illā malakun karīmun
When she heard of their malicious talk, she sent for them and prepared a banquet for them: she gave each of them a knife: and she said (to Joseph), "Come out before them." When they saw him, they did extol him, and (in their amazement) cut their hands: they said, "Allah preserve us! no mortal is this! this is none other than a noble angel!"

Seest thou not that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap? - then wilt thou see rain issue forth from their midst. And He sends down from the sky mountain masses (of clouds) wherein is hail: He strikes therewith whom He pleases and He turns it away from whom He pleases, the vivid flash of His lightning well-nigh blinds the sight.
(24:53)

(28:20)

وَجَآءَ  رَجُلٌ  مِّنْ  أَقْصَا  ٱلْمَدِينَةِ  يَسْعَىٰ  قَالَ  يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ  إِنَّ  ٱلْمَلَأَ  يَأْتَمِرُونَ  بِكَ  لِيَقْتُلُوكَ  فَٱخْرُجْ  إِنِّى  لَكَ  مِنَ  ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ wa‑jāʾa rajulun min aqṣā l‑madīnati yasʿā qalā yā‑mūsā inna l‑malaa yatamirūna bika līaqtulūka fa‑ikhruj innī la‑ka mina l‑nāṣiḥīna
And there came a man, running, from the furthest end of the City. He said: "O Moses! the Chiefs are taking counsel together about thee, to slay thee: so get thee away, for I do give thee sincere advice."
(28:21)

He therefore got away therefrom, looking about, in a state of fear. He prayed "O my Lord! save me from people given to wrong-doing."
(28:32)

ٱسْلُكْ  يَدَكَ  فِى  جَيْبِكَ  تَخْرُجْ  بَيْضَآءَ  مِنْ  غَيْرِ  سُوٓءٍ  وَٱضْمُمْ  إِلَيْكَ  جَنَاحَكَ  مِنَ  ٱلرَّهْبِ  فَذَٰنِكَ  بُرْهَٰنَانِ  مِن  رَّبِّكَ  إِلَىٰ  فِرْعَوْنَ  وَمَلَإِي۟هِۦٓ  إِنَّهُمْ  كَانُوا۟  قَوْمًا  فَٰسِقِينَ isluk yadaka jaybika takhruj bayḍāʾa min ghayri sūʾin wa‑iḍmum ilayka janāḥaka mina l‑rahbi fadhānika burhānāni min rabbika ilā firʿawna wa‑malaīhi innahum kānū qawman fāsiqīna
"Move thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm), and draw thy hand close to thy side (to guard) against fear. Those are the two credentials from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his Chiefs: for truly they are a people rebellious and wicked."
(28:79)

So he went forth among his people in the (pride of his wordly) glitter. Said those whose aim is the Life of this World: "Oh! that we had the like of what Qarun has got! for he is truly a lord of mighty good fortune!"

Surah 30 al-Rūm (The Romans)
(30:25)

وَمِنْ  ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ  أَن  تَقُومَ  ٱلسَّمَآءُ  وَٱلْأَرْضُ  بِأَمْرِهِۦ  ثُمَّ  إِذَا  دَعَاكُمْ  دَعْوَةً  مِّنَ  ٱلْأَرْضِ  إِذَآ  أَنتُمْ  تَخْرُجُونَ wa‑min āyātihi an taqūma l‑samāʾu wa‑l‑arḍu bi‑amrihi thumma idhā daʿākum daʿwatan mina l‑arḍi idhā antum takhrujūna
And among His Signs is this, that heaven and earth stand by His Command: then when He calls you, by a single call, from the earth, behold, ye (straightway) come forth.
(30:48)

ٱللَّـهُ  ٱلَّذِى  يُرْسِلُ  ٱلرِّيَٰحَ  فَتُثِيرُ  سَحَابًا  فَيَبْسُطُهُۥ  فِى  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  كَيْفَ  يَشَآءُ  وَيَجْعَلُهُۥ  كِسَفًا  فَتَرَى  ٱلْوَدْقَ  يَخْرُجُ  مِنْ  خِلَٰلِهِۦ  فَإِذَآ  أَصَابَ  بِهِۦ  مَن  يَشَآءُ  مِنْ  عِبَادِهِۦٓ  إِذَا  هُمْ  يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ allāhu alladhī yursilu l‑riyāḥa fa‑tuthīru saḥāban fa‑yabsuṭuhu l‑samāʾi kayfa yashāʾu wa‑yajʿaluhu kisafan fatarā l‑wadqa yakhruju min khilālihi fa‑idhā aṣāba bihi man yashāʾu min ʿibādihi idhā hum yastabshirūna
It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!-

Surah 32 al-Sajdah (The Adoration)
(32:20)

وَأَمَّا  ٱلَّذِينَ  فَسَقُوا۟  فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ  ٱلنَّارُ  كُلَّمَآ  أَرَادُوٓا۟  أَن  يَخْرُجُوا۟  مِنْهَآ  أُعِيدُوا۟  فِيهَا  وَقِيلَ  لَهُمْ  ذُوقُوا۟  عَذَابَ  ٱلنَّارِ  ٱلَّذِى  كُنتُم  بِهِۦ  تُكَذِّبُونَ wa‑ammā lladhīna fasaqū fa‑maʾwāhumu l‑nāru kullamā arādū an yakhrujū minhā uʿīdū fīhā wa‑qīla lahum dhūqū ʿadhāba l‑nāri alladhī kuntum bihi tukadhdhibūna
As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire: every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be forced thereinto, and it will be said to them: "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false."

Surah 34 Sabaʾ (Sheba)
(34:2)

يَعْلَمُ  مَا  يَلِجُ  فِى  ٱلْأَرْضِ  وَمَا  يَخْرُجُ  مِنْهَا  وَمَا  يَنزِلُ  مِنَ  ٱلسَّمَآءِ  وَمَا  يَعْرُجُ  فِيهَا  وَهُوَ  ٱلرَّحِيمُ  ٱلْغَفُورُ yaʿlamu yaliju l‑arḍi wa‑mā yakhruju minhā wa‑mā yanzilu mina l‑samāʾi wa‑mā yaʿruju fīhā wa‑huwa l‑raḥīmu l‑ghafūru
He knows all that goes into the earth, and all that comes out thereof; all that comes down from the sky and all that ascends thereto and He is the Most Merciful, the Oft-Forgiving.

Surah 37 al-Ṣaffāt (The Rangers)
(37:64)

For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire:

Surah 38 Ṣād (Sad)
(38:77)

(Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed.

Surah 41 Fuṣṣilat (Revelations Well Expounded)
(41:47)

To Him is referred the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment: He knows all): No date-fruit comes out of its sheath, nor does a female conceive (within her womb) nor bring forth the Day that (Allah) will propound to them the (question), "Where are the partners (ye attributed to Me?" They will say, "We do assure thee not one of us can bear witness!"

Surah 47 Muḥammad (Muhammad)
(47:16)

وَمِنْهُم  مَّن  يَسْتَمِعُ  إِلَيْكَ  حَتَّىٰٓ  إِذَا  خَرَجُوا۟  مِنْ  عِندِكَ  قَالُوا۟  لِلَّذِينَ  أُوتُوا۟  ٱلْعِلْمَ  مَاذَا  قَالَ  ءَانِفًا  أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  طَبَعَ  ٱللَّـهُ  عَلَىٰ  قُلُوبِهِمْ  وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟  أَهْوَآءَهُمْ wa‑minhum man yastamiʿu ilayka ḥatta idhā kharajū min ʿindika qālū li‑lladhīna ūtū l‑ʿilma mādhā qalā ānifan ulāʾika lladhīna ṭabaʿa allāhu ʿalā qulūbihim wa‑ittabaʿū ahwāʾahum
And among them are men who listen to thee, but in the end, when they go out from thee, they say to those who have received Knowledge, "What is it he said just then?" Such are men whose hearts Allah has sealed, and who follow their own lusts.

Surah 49 al-Ḥujurāt (The Chambers)
(49:5)

If only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Surah 54 al-Qamar (The Moon)
(54:7)

خُشَّعًا  أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ  يَخْرُجُونَ  مِنَ  ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ  كَأَنَّهُمْ  جَرَادٌ  مُّنتَشِرٌ khushshaʿan abṣāruhum yakhrujūna mina l‑ajdāthi ka‑annahum jarādun muntashirun
They will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad,

Surah 55 al-Raḥmān (The Merciful)
(55:22)

Surah 57 al-Ḥadīd (The Iron)
(57:4)

He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and is moreover firmly established on the Throne (of Authority). He knows what enters within the earth and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do.

Surah 59 al-Ḥashr (The Exile)
(59:2)

هُوَ  ٱلَّذِىٓ  أَخْرَجَ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  مِنْ  أَهْلِ  ٱلْكِتَٰبِ  مِن  دِيَٰرِهِمْ  لِأَوَّلِ  ٱلْحَشْرِ  مَا  ظَنَنتُمْ  أَن  يَخْرُجُوا۟  وَظَنُّوٓا۟  أَنَّهُم  مَّانِعَتُهُمْ  حُصُونُهُم  مِّنَ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَأَتَىٰهُمُ  ٱللَّـهُ  مِنْ  حَيْثُ  لَمْ  يَحْتَسِبُوا۟  وَقَذَفَ  فِى  قُلُوبِهِمُ  ٱلرُّعْبَ  يُخْرِبُونَ  بُيُوتَهُم  بِأَيْدِيهِمْ  وَأَيْدِى  ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ  فَٱعْتَبِرُوا۟  يَٰٓأُو۟لِى  ٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ huwa alladhī akhraja lladhīna kafarū min ahli l‑kitābi min diyārihim liawwali l‑ḥashri ẓanantum an yakhrujū wa‑ẓannū annahum māniʿatuhum ḥuṣūnuhum mina allāhi faatahumu allāhu min ḥaythu lam yaḥtasibū wa‑qadhafa qulūbihimu l‑ruʿba yukhribūna buyūtahum bi‑aydīhim wa‑aydī l‑muʾminīna faʿtabirū yā‑ūlī l‑abṣāri
It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)!
(59:11)

أَلَمْ  تَرَ  إِلَى  ٱلَّذِينَ  نَافَقُوا۟  يَقُولُونَ  لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمُ  ٱلَّذِينَ  كَفَرُوا۟  مِنْ  أَهْلِ  ٱلْكِتَٰبِ  لَئِنْ  أُخْرِجْتُمْ  لَنَخْرُجَنَّ  مَعَكُمْ  وَلَا  نُطِيعُ  فِيكُمْ  أَحَدًا  أَبَدًا  وَإِن  قُوتِلْتُمْ  لَنَنصُرَنَّكُمْ  وَٱللَّـهُ  يَشْهَدُ  إِنَّهُمْ  لَكَٰذِبُونَ a‑lam tara ilā lladhīna nāfaqū yaqūlūna liikhwānihimu lladhīna kafarū min ahli l‑kitābi lain ukhrijtum lanakhrujanna maʿakum wa‑lā nuṭīʿu fīkum aḥadan abadan wa‑in qūtiltum lananṣurannakum wallāhu yashhadu innahum la‑kādhibūna
Hast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But Allah is witness that they are indeed liars.
(59:12)

لَئِنْ  أُخْرِجُوا۟  لَا  يَخْرُجُونَ  مَعَهُمْ  وَلَئِن  قُوتِلُوا۟  لَا  يَنصُرُونَهُمْ  وَلَئِن  نَّصَرُوهُمْ  لَيُوَلُّنَّ  ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ  ثُمَّ  لَا  يُنصَرُونَ lain ukhrijū yakhrujūna maʿahum wa‑laʾin qūtilū yanṣurūnahum wa‑laʾin nnaṣarūhum layūallunna l‑adbāra thumma yunṣarūna
If they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help.

Surah 60 al-Mumtaḥanah (She Who is Tested)
(60:1)

O ye who believe! Take not my enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),- offering them (your) love, even though they have rejected the Truth that has come to you, and have (on the contrary) driven out the Prophet and yourselves (from your homes), (simply) because ye believe in Allah your Lord! If ye have come out to strive in My Way and to seek My Good Pleasure, (take them not as friends), holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: for I know full well all that ye conceal and all that ye reveal. And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path.

Surah 65 al-Ṭalāq (The Divorce)
(65:1)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا  ٱلنَّبِىُّ  إِذَا  طَلَّقْتُمُ  ٱلنِّسَآءَ  فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ  لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ  وَأَحْصُوا۟  ٱلْعِدَّةَ  وَٱتَّقُوا۟  ٱللَّـهَ  رَبَّكُمْ  لَا  تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ  مِنۢ  بُيُوتِهِنَّ  وَلَا  يَخْرُجْنَ  إِلَّآ  أَن  يَأْتِينَ  بِفَٰحِشَةٍ  مُّبَيِّنَةٍ  وَتِلْكَ  حُدُودُ  ٱللَّـهِ  وَمَن  يَتَعَدَّ  حُدُودَ  ٱللَّـهِ  فَقَدْ  ظَلَمَ  نَفْسَهُۥ  لَا  تَدْرِى  لَعَلَّ  ٱللَّـهَ  يُحْدِثُ  بَعْدَ  ذَٰلِكَ  أَمْرًا yā‑ayyuhā l‑nabiyyu idhā ṭallaqtumu l‑nisāʾa fa‑ṭalliqūhunna li‑ʿiddatihinna wa‑aḥṣū l‑ʿiddata wa‑ittaqū allāha rabbakum tukhrijūhunna min buyūtihinna wa‑lā yakhrujna illā an yaʾtīna bi‑fāḥishatin mubayyinatin wa‑tilka ḥudūdu allāhi wa‑man yataʿadda ḥudūda allāhi fa‑qad ẓalama nafsahu tadrī laʿalla allāha yuḥdithu baʿda dhālika amran
O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.

Surah 70 al-Maʿārij (The Ladders)
(70:43)

يَوْمَ  يَخْرُجُونَ  مِنَ  ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ  سِرَاعًا  كَأَنَّهُمْ  إِلَىٰ  نُصُبٍ  يُوفِضُونَ yawma yakhrujūna mina l‑ajdāthi sirāʿan ka‑annahum ilā nuṣubin yūfiḍūna
