Sura al-Baqara 2:21

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

yā-ayyuhā l-nāsu iʿbudū rabbakumu alladhī khalaqakum wa-lladhīna min qablikum la-ʿallakum tattaqūna

O ye people! Adore your Guardian-Lord, who created you and those who came before you, that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness;

Sura al-Baqara 2:29

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

huwa alladhī khalaqa la-kum mā fī l-arḍi jamīʿan thumma istawā ilā l-samāʾi fa-sawwahunna sabʿa samāwātin wa-huwa bi-kulli shayʾin ʿalīmun

It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.

Sura al-Baqara 2:228

وَٱلْمُطَلَّقَٰتُ يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ ثَلَٰثَةَ قُرُوٓءٍ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَهُنَّ أَن يَكْتُمْنَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّـهُ فِىٓ أَرْحَامِهِنَّ إِن كُنَّ يُؤْمِنَّ بِٱللَّـهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْأَخِرِ وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ أَحَقُّ بِرَدِّهِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ إِنْ أَرَادُوٓا۟ إِصْلَٰحًا وَلَهُنَّ مِثْلُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَيْهِنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَلِلرِّجَالِ عَلَيْهِنَّ دَرَجَةٌ وَٱللَّـهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

wa-l-muṭallaqātu yatarabbaṣna bi-anfusihinna thalāthata qurūʾin wa-lā yaḥillu la-hunna an yaktumna mā khalaqa allāhu fī arḥāmihinna in kunna yuʾminna billāhi wa-l-yawmi l-akhiri wabuʿūlatuhunna aḥaqqu bi-raddihinna fī dhālika in arādū iṣlāḥan wa-lahunna mithlu alladhī ʿalayhinna bil-maʿrūfi wa-lil-rijāli ʿalayhinna darajatun wallāhu ʿazīzun ḥakīmun

Divorced women shall wait concerning themselves for three monthly periods. Nor is it lawful for them to hide what Allah Hath created in their wombs, if they have faith in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have the better right to take them back in that period, if they wish for reconciliation. And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:47

قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِى بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ ٱللَّـهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

qālat rabbi annā yakūnu lī waladun wa-lam yamsasnī basharun qalā ka-dhāliki allāhu yakhluqu mā yashāʾu idhā qaḍa amran fa-innamā yaqūlu lahu kun fa-yakūnu

She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:49

وَرَسُولًا إِلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَنِّى قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِـَٔايَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ أَنِّىٓ أَخْلُقُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلطِّينِ كَهَيْـَٔةِ ٱلطَّيْرِ فَأَنفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًۢا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّـهِ وَأُبْرِئُ ٱلْأَكْمَهَ وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّـهِ وَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِى بُيُوتِكُمْ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

wa-rasūlan ilā banī isrāʾīla annī qad jiʾtukum bi-āyatin min rabbikum annī akhluqu la-kum mina l-ṭīni kahayati l-ṭayri fa-anfukhu fīhi fa-yakūnu ṭayran bi-idhni allāhi wa-ubriʾu l-akmaha wa-l-abraṣa wa-uḥi l-mawtā bi-idhni allāhi wa-unabbiʾukum bi-mā taʾkulūna wa-mā taddakhirūna fī buyūtikum inna fī dhālika la-āyatan la-kum in kuntum muʾminīna

"And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:59

إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ كَمَثَلِ ءَادَمَ خَلَقَهُۥ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

inna mathala ʿīsa ʿinda allāhi ka-mathali ādama khalaqahu min turābin thumma qalā lahu kun fa-yakūnu

The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.

Sura Āl-ʿImrān 3:191

ٱلَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ ٱللَّـهَ قِيَٰمًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلًا سُبْحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

lladhīna yadhkurūna allāha qiyāman wa-quʿūdan wa-ʿalā junūbihim wa-yatafakkarūna fī khalqi l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi rabbanā mā khalaqta hādhā bāṭilan subḥānaka faqinā ʿadhāba l-nāri

Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيرًا وَنِسَآءً وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّـهَ ٱلَّذِى تَسَآءَلُونَ بِهِۦ وَٱلْأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا

yā-ayyuhā l-nāsu ittaqū rabbakumu alladhī khalaqakum min nafsin wāḥidatin wa-khalaqa minhā zawjahā wa-baththa minhumā rijālan kathīran wa-nisāan wa-ittaqū allāha alladhī tasāalūna bihi wa-l-arḥāma inna allāha kāna ʿalaykum raqīban

O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you.

Sura al-Nisāʾ 4:28

يُرِيدُ ٱللَّـهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ وَخُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفًا

yurīdu allāhu an yukhaffifa ʿankum wa-khuliqa l-insānu ḍaʿīfan

Allah doth wish to lighten your (difficulties): For man was created Weak (in flesh).

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:17

لَّقَدْ كَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ هُوَ ٱلْمَسِيحُ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ قُلْ فَمَن يَمْلِكُ مِنَ ٱللَّـهِ شَيْـًٔا إِنْ أَرَادَ أَن يُهْلِكَ ٱلْمَسِيحَ ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَلِلَّەِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَٱللَّـهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

llaqad kafara lladhīna qālū inna allāha huwa l-masīḥu ibnu maryama qul fa-man yamliku mina allāhi shayʾan in arāda an yuhlika l-masīḥa ibna maryama wa-ummahu wa-man fī l-arḍi jamīʿan wa-lillahi mulku l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-mā baynahumā yakhluqu mā yashāʾu wallāhu ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun

In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ the son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth what He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things."

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:18

وَقَالَتِ ٱلْيَهُودُ وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ نَحْنُ أَبْنَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱللَّـهِ وَأَحِبَّٰٓؤُهُۥ قُلْ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُم بِذُنُوبِكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ يَغْفِرُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَلِلَّەِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

wa-qālati l-yahūdu wa-l-naṣārā naḥnu abnāʾu allāhi wa-aḥibbāʾuhu qul falima yuʿadhdhibukum bi-dhunūbikum bal antum basharun mimman khalaqa yaghfiru li-man yashāʾu wa-yuʿadhdhibu man yashāʾu wa-lillahi mulku l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-mā baynahumā wa-ilayhi l-maṣīru

(Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all)"

Sura al-Māʾidah 5:110

إِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّـهُ يَٰعِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِى عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ ٱلطِّينِ كَهَيْـَٔةِ ٱلطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِى فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًۢا بِإِذْنِى وَتُبْرِئُ ٱلْأَكْمَهَ وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِى وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِى وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ عَنكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

idh qalā allāhu yā-ʿīsā ibna maryama adhkur niʿmatī ʿalayka wa-ʿalā wālidatika idh ayyadttuka bi-rūḥi l-qudusi tukallimu l-nāsa fī l-mahdi wa-kahlan wa-idh ʿallamtuka l-kitāba wa-l-ḥikmata wa-l-tawrata wa-l-injīla wa-idh takhluqu mina l-ṭīni kahayati l-ṭayri bi-idhnī fa-tanfukhu fīhā fa-takūnu ṭayran bi-idhnī wa-tubriʾu l-akmaha wa-l-abraṣa bi-idhnī wa-idh tukhriju l-mawtā bi-idhnī wa-idh kafaftu banī isrāʾīla ʿanka idh jiʾtahum bil-bayyināti fa-qāla lladhīna kafarū minhum in hādhā illā siḥrun mubīnun

Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'

Sura al-Anʿām 6:1

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ وَٱلنُّورَ ثُمَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ

l-ḥamdu lillāhi alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa wa-jaʿala l-ẓulumāti wa-l-nūra thumma lladhīna kafarū bi-rabbihim yaʿdilūna

Praise be Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet those who reject Faith hold (others) as equal, with their Guardian-Lord.

Sura al-Anʿām 6:2

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰٓ أَجَلًا وَأَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ

huwa alladhī khalaqakum min ṭīnin thumma qaḍa ajalan wa-ajalun musamman ʿindahu thumma antum tamtarūna

He it is created you from clay, and then decreed a stated term (for you). And there is in His presence another determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves!

Sura al-Anʿām 6:73

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَيَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُن فَيَكُونُ قَوْلُهُ ٱلْحَقُّ وَلَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِى ٱلصُّورِ عَٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

wa-huwa alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa bil-ḥaqqi wa-yawma yaqūlu kun fa-yakūnu qawluhu l-ḥaqqu walahu l-mulku yawma yunfakhu fī l-ṣūri ʿālimu l-ghaybi wa-l-shahādati wa-huwa l-ḥakīmu l-khabīru

It is He who created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): the day He saith, "Be," behold! it is. His word is the truth. His will be the dominion the day the trumpet will be blown. He knoweth the unseen as well as that which is open. For He is the Wise, well acquainted (with all things).

Sura al-Anʿām 6:100

وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّـهِ شُرَكَآءَ ٱلْجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمْ وَخَرَقُوا۟ لَهُۥ بَنِينَ وَبَنَٰتٍۭ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

wa-jaʿalū lillāhi shurakāʾa l-jinna wa-khalaqahum wa-kharaqū lahu banīna wa-banātin bi-ghayri ʿilmin subḥānahu wa-taʿāla ʿammā yaṣifūna

Yet they make the Jinns equals with Allah, though Allah did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him!

Sura al-Anʿām 6:101

بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُۥ وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ تَكُن لَّهُۥ صَٰحِبَةٌ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

badīʿu l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi annā yakūnu lahu waladun wa-lam takun lahu ṣāḥibatun wakhalaqa kulla shayʾin wa-huwa bi-kulli shayʾin ʿalīmun

To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things.

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:12

قَالَ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَلَّا تَسْجُدَ إِذْ أَمَرْتُكَ قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍ

qalā mā manaʿaka allā tasjuda idh amartuka qalā anā khayrun minhu khalaqtanī min nnārin wa-khalaqtahu min ṭīnin

(Allah) said: "What prevented thee from prostrating when I commanded thee?" He said: "I am better than he: Thou didst create me from fire, and him from clay."

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:54

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثًا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۭ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلْخَلْقُ وَٱلْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ ٱللَّـهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

inna rabbakumu allāhu alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa fī sittati ayyāmin thumma istawā ʿalā l-ʿarshi yughshī l-layla l-nahāra yaṭlubuhu ḥathīthan wa-l-shamsa wa-l-qamara wa-l-nujūma musakhkharātin bi-amrihi āla lahu l-khalqu wa-l-amru tabāraka allāhu rabbu l-ʿālamīna

Your Guardian-Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority): He draweth the night as a veil o'er the day, each seeking the other in rapid succession: He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) governed by laws under His command. Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:185

أَوَلَمْ يَنظُرُوا۟ فِى مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّـهُ مِن شَىْءٍ وَأَنْ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَدِ ٱقْتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ

a-wa-lam yanẓurū fī malakūti l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-mā khalaqa allāhu min shayʾin wa-an ʿasā an yakūna qadi iqtaraba ajaluhum fa-bi-ayyi ḥadīthin baʿdahu yuʾminūna

Do they see nothing in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah hath created? (Do they not see) that it may well be that their terms is nigh drawing to an end? In what message after this will they then believe?

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:189

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا لِيَسْكُنَ إِلَيْهَا فَلَمَّا تَغَشَّىٰهَا حَمَلَتْ حَمْلًا خَفِيفًا فَمَرَّتْ بِهِۦ فَلَمَّآ أَثْقَلَت دَّعَوَا ٱللَّـهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَئِنْ ءَاتَيْتَنَا صَٰلِحًا لَّنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ

huwa alladhī khalaqakum min nafsin wāḥidatin wa-jaʿala minhā zawjahā li-yaskuna ilayhā fa-lammā taghashshahā ḥamalat ḥamlan khafīfan fa-marrat bihi fa-lammā athqalat ddaʿawā allāha rabbahumā lain ātaytanā ṣāliḥan llanakūnanna mina l-shākirīna

It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love). When they are united, she bears a light burden and carries it about (unnoticed). When she grows heavy, they both pray to Allah their Lord, (saying): "If Thou givest us a goodly child, we vow we shall (ever) be grateful."

Sura al-Aʿrāf 7:191

أَيُشْرِكُونَ مَا لَا يَخْلُقُ شَيْـًٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ

ayushrikūna mā lā yakhluqu shayʾan wa-hum yukhlaqūna

Do they indeed ascribe to Him as partners things that can create nothing, but are themselves created?

Sura al-Tawbah 9:36

إِنَّ عِدَّةَ ٱلشُّهُورِ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ ٱثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّـهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ مِنْهَآ أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْقَيِّمُ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا۟ فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَقَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ كَآفَّةً كَمَا يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمْ كَآفَّةً وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

inna ʿiddata l-shuhūri ʿinda allāhi thnā ʿashara shahran fī kitābi allāhi yawma khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa minhā arbaʿatun ḥurumun dhālika l-dīnu l-qayyimu fa-lā taẓlimū fī-hinna anfusakum wa-qātilū l-mushrikīna kāffatan ka-mā yuqātilūnakum kāffatan wa-iʿlamū annā allāha maʿa l-muttaqīna

The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

Sura Yūnus 10:3

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ مَا مِن شَفِيعٍ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِذْنِهِۦ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّـهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

inna rabbakumu allāhu alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa fī sittati ayyāmin thumma istawā ʿalā l-ʿarshi yudabbiru l-amra mā min shafīʿin illā min baʿdi idhnihi dhālikumu allāhu rabbukum fa-iʿbudūhu a-fa-lā tadhakkarūna

Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye: will ye not receive admonition?

Sura Yūnus 10:5

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ ضِيَآءً وَٱلْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُۥ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّـهُ ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْأَيَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ

huwa alladhī jaʿala l-shamsa ḍiyāʾan wa-l-qamara nūran wa-qaddarahu manāzila li-taʿlamū ʿadada l-sinīna wa-l-ḥisāba mā khalaqa allāhu dhālika illā bil-ḥaqqi yufaṣṣilu l-ayāti li-qawmin yaʿlamūna

It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand.

Sura Yūnus 10:6

إِنَّ فِى ٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّـهُ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَّقُونَ

inna fī ikhtilāfi l-layli wa-l-nahāri wa-mā khalaqa allāhu fī l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi la-āyātin li-qawmin yattaqūna

Verily, in the alternation of the night and the day, and in all that Allah hath created, in the heavens and the earth, are signs for those who fear Him.

Sura Hūd 11:7

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُۥ عَلَى ٱلْمَآءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا وَلَئِن قُلْتَ إِنَّكُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلْمَوْتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

wa-huwa alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa fī sittati ayyāmin wa-kāna ʿarshuhu ʿalā l-māʾi li-yabluwakum ayyukum aḥsanu ʿamalan wa-laʾin qulta innakum mabʿūthūna min baʿdi l-mawti la-yaqūlanna lladhīna kafarū in hādhā illā siḥrun mubīnun

He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!"

Sura Hūd 11:119

إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ رَبُّكَ وَلِذَٰلِكَ خَلَقَهُمْ وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَةُ رَبِّكَ لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ

illā man raḥima rabbuka wa-lidhālika khalaqahum wa-tammat kalimatu rabbika la-amlaʾanna jahannama mina l-jinnati wa-l-nāsi ajmaʿīna

Except those on whom thy Lord hath bestowed His Mercy: and for this did He create them: and the Word of thy Lord shall be fulfilled: "I will fill Hell with jinns and men all together."

Sura Ibrāhīm 14:19

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ

a-lam tara annā allāha khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa bil-ḥaqqi in yashaʾ yudhhibkum wa-yaʾti bi-khalqin jadīdin

Seest thou not that Allah created the heavens and the earth in Truth? If He so will, He can remove you and put (in your place) a new creation?

Sura Ibrāhīm 14:32

ٱللَّـهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِىَ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ

allāhu alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa wa-anzala mina l-samāʾi māʾan faakhraja bihi mina l-thamarāti rizqan la-kum wa-sakhkhara lakumu l-fulka li-tajriya fī l-baḥri bi-amrihi wa-sakhkhara lakumu l-anhāra

It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you.

Sura al-Ḥijr 15:33

قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ

qalā lam akun li-asjuda li-basharin khalaqtahu min ṣalṣālin min ḥamāʾin masnūnin

(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."

Sura al-Naḥl 16:3

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ تَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa bil-ḥaqqi taʿāla ʿammā yushrikūna

He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him!

Sura al-Naḥl 16:4

خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ

khalaqa l-insāna min nuṭfatin fa-idhā huwa khaṣīmun mubīnun

He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!

Sura al-Naḥl 16:5

وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَٰفِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ

wa-l-anʿāma khalaqahā la-kum fīhā difʾun wa-manāfiʿu wa-minhā taʾkulūna

And cattle He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits, and of their (meat) ye eat.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:8

وَٱلْخَيْلَ وَٱلْبِغَالَ وَٱلْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةً وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

wa-l-khayla wa-l-bighāla wa-l-ḥamīra li-tarkabūhā wa-zīnatan wa-yakhluqu mā lā taʿlamūna

And (He has created) horses, mules, and donkeys, for you to ride and use for show; and He has created (other) things of which ye have no knowledge.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:17

أَفَمَن يَخْلُقُ كَمَن لَّا يَخْلُقُ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

a-fa-man yakhluqu ka-man lā yakhluqu a-fa-lā tadhakkarūna

Is then He Who creates like one that creates not? Will ye not receive admonition?

Sura al-Naḥl 16:48

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّـهُ مِن شَىْءٍ يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟ ظِلَٰلُهُۥ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ سُجَّدًا لِلَّـهِ وَهُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ

a-wa-lam yaraw ilā mā khalaqa allāhu min shayʾin yatafayyau ẓilāluhu ʿani l-yamīni wa-l-shamāʾili sujjadan lillāhi wa-hum dākhirūna

Do they not look at Allah's creation, (even) among (inanimate) things,- How their (very) shadows turn round, from the right and the left, prostrating themselves to Allah, and that in the humblest manner?

Sura al-Naḥl 16:70

وَٱللَّـهُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْعُمُرِ لِكَىْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍ شَيْـًٔا إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ عَلِيمٌ قَدِيرٌ

wallāhu khalaqakum thumma yatawaffakum wa-minkum man yuraddu ila ardhali l-ʿumuri li-kai lā yaʿlama baʿda ʿilmin shayʾan inna allāha ʿalīmun qadīrun

It is Allah who creates you and takes your souls at death; and of you there are some who are sent back to a feeble age, so that they know nothing after having known (much): for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.

Sura al-Naḥl 16:81

وَٱللَّـهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَٰلًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ أَكْنَٰنًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ ٱلْحَرَّ وَسَرَٰبِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ كَذَٰلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ

wallāhu jaʿala la-kum mimmā khalaqa ẓilālan wa-jaʿala la-kum mina l-jibāli aknānan wa-jaʿala la-kum sarābīla taqīkumu l-ḥarra wa-sarābīla taqīkum basakum ka-dhālika yutimmu niʿmatahu ʿalaykum la-ʿallakum tuslimūna

It is Allah Who made out of the things He created, some things to give you shade; of the hills He made some for your shelter; He made you garments to protect you from heat, and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence. Thus does He complete His favours on you, that ye may bow to His Will (in Islam).

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:61

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ قَالَ ءَأَسْجُدُ لِمَنْ خَلَقْتَ طِينًا

wa-idh qulnā lil-malāʾikati isjudū li-ādama fa-sajadū illā iblīsa qalā a-asjudu liman khalaqta ṭīnan

Behold! We said to the angels: "Bow down unto Adam": They bowed down except Iblis: He said, "Shall I bow down to one whom Thou didst create from clay?"

Sura al-Isrāʾ 17:99

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّـهَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ أَجَلًا لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَأَبَى ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ إِلَّا كُفُورًا

a-wa-lam yaraw annā allāha alladhī khalaqa l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍa qādirun ʿala an yakhluqa mithlahum wa-jaʿala lahum ajalan lā rayba fīhi faaba l-ẓālimūna illā kufūran

See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, has power to create the like of them (anew)? Only He has decreed a term appointed, of which there is no doubt. But the unjust refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude.

Sura al-Kahf 18:37

قَالَ لَهُۥ صَاحِبُهُۥ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُۥٓ أَكَفَرْتَ بِٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ مِن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰكَ رَجُلًا

qalā lahu ṣāḥibuhu wa-huwa yuḥāwiruhu akafarta bi-lladhī khalaqaka min turābin thumma min nuṭfatin thumma sawwaka rajulan

His companion said to him, in the course of the argument with him: "Dost thou deny Him Who created thee out of dust, then out of a sperm-drop, then fashioned thee into a man?

Sura Maryam 19:9

قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْـًٔا

qalā ka-dhālika qalā rabbuka huwa ʿalayya hayyinun wa-qad khalaqtuka min qablu wa-lam taku shayʾan

He said: "So (it will be) thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: I did indeed create thee before, when thou hadst been nothing!'"

Sura Ṭā Hā 20:4

تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى

tanzīlan mimman khalaqa l-arḍa wa-l-samāwāti l-ʿulā

A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high.

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:33

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ فِى فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ

wa-huwa alladhī khalaqa l-layla wa-l-nahāra wa-l-shamsa wa-l-qamara kullun fī falakin yasbaḥūna

It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course.

Sura al-Anbiyāʾ 21:37

خُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِى فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

khuliqa l-insānu min ʿajalin sa-ūrīkum āyātī fa-lā tastaʿjilūni

Man is a creature of haste: soon (enough) will I show you My Signs; then ye will not ask Me to hasten them!

Sura al-Muʾminūn 23:91

مَا ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّـهُ مِن وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُۥ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَٰهٍۭ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّـهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

mā ittakhadha allāhu min waladin wa-mā kāna maʿahu min ilāhin idhan lladhahaba kullu ilāhin bi-mā khalaqa wa-laʿalā baʿḍuhum ʿalā baʿḍin subḥāna allāhi ʿammā yaṣifūna

No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!

Sura al-Nūr 24:45

وَٱللَّـهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَآبَّةٍ مِّن مَّآءٍ فَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰ بَطْنِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰ رِجْلَيْنِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰٓ أَرْبَعٍ يَخْلُقُ ٱللَّـهُ مَا يَشَآءُ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

wallāhu khalaqa kulla dābbatin min māʾin fa-minhum man yamshī ʿalā baṭnihi wa-minhum man yamshī ʿalā rijlayni wa-minhum man yamshī ʿala arbaʿin yakhluqu allāhu mā yashāʾu inna allāha ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīrun

And Allah has created every animal from water: of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills for verily Allah has power over all things.

Sura al-Furqān 25:2

ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى ٱلْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقْدِيرًا

alladhī lahu mulku l-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi wa-lam yattakhidh waladan wa-lam yakun lahu sharīkun fī l-mulki wa-khalaqa kulla shayʾin fa-qaddarahu taqdīran

He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: no son has He begotten, nor has He a partner in His dominion: it is He who created all things, and ordered them in due proportions.

Sura al-Furqān 25:54

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا

wa-huwa alladhī khalaqa mina l-māʾi basharan fa-jaʿalahu nasaban wa-ṣihran wa-kāna rabbuka qadīran

It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things).
